@@Citrusautomaton I dunno man seems like it's just gonna take a lot of peoples passions and jobs away from them leaving them destitute and/or listless in a society that will refuse to care for them if they have no money, and the only ones to profit will be the billionaires who already aren't willing to share that wealth maybe if AI development was focused on the betterment of society rather than just for tech companies to gold rush more wealth for themselves, people would be less disgusted by it, but the truth is people see how it's being used for what it is

@@Oppurtunafish This is called progress. Traffic intersections used to be controlled by humans. We used to have cashiers at McDonalds. People used to swing pickaxes at rock walls in a mine and carry it to the surface on their shoulders. If technology catches up and your profession is no longer contributing anything to society, it’s time to move on. Do something useful.

@@Oppurtunafish this^ + all of the stuff its been trained on, has been stolen content. its all very energy and resource intensive too. sure its cool and all but why would you make AI do the most creative human jobs (art/music) instead of the most annoying (ig that'd be like laws and loopholes, money stuff, all stuff computers do or can do anyway). but it all seems futile and too late, AI is here to fuck shit up, seems nobody cares anymore.
