Leave it(but I don't suggest pickpocket,it only works on direct contact,use thief instead)

Honestly that's a very good question. Usually if stuff like that spikes it's probably because someone or multiple people are trying to shiny hunt it.

1. Old amber's drop rate is low 2. aerodactyl is with 130 base speed a good option for gym rerun teams (Rock Slide) 3. pink shinies are populair overall (i would love a shiny aerodactyl for my gym rerun team 1 day)

You'll see the frisk ability flash twice if there's two items in a horde. It is possible just not very common.

wouldn't 31 ivs and evs in hp and def be better for meowth farming? since at a high level you'll outspeed and ohko them anyways? or is it not a big deal lol

Higher def definitely wouldn't hurt but yeah the stats are more just a suggestion for an all around frisk user. Could definitely get away with different.

Correct, I like to keep at least one backup pokemon with thief in my party just in case I forget or get a 2 item horde. It's rare but does occur.

I highly suggest just one cutting the lowest and not putting it at same value. That could not sell for that fast.

Unfortunately you just need to keep hitting them with thief until you get the item, there's no indication which.
