Great dark game! Whenever I play dark and I'm up against a fairy comp, I'm always on the lookout for assault vest to reduce damage taken from fairy shocks, that paired with red orb and shiny charm from your houndoom would be great for your bisharp. I think positioning mega sableye at the back is better since its always silenced by hatterene's spell in the frontline. If mega sableye can cast once on hatterene your all good. I hope I don't sound like I'm backseating, hindsight is 20/20 and I'm learning a lot from your vids! Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback! I agree with your way of thinking. I think I was mostly auto piloting and thought I'd never see Bisharp since it took so long to find Pawniard. If I was fully locked in, I believe this would have mattered and gotten me top 1. I also keep forgetting that Dark doesn't jump if it auto engages into combat. Rookie mistakes!

@@ThatOnePokemonKid I forgot that mega sableye had rune protect so hatterene's silence wouldn't matter anyway lol I guess it's just positioning diff perhaps? Regardless of whether your in the top 100 or not, I think you still mirror the playstyle of a top 100 player. Keep up the videos king!

Nice Game! I really like mega-sableye aswell! I think monster 9 is kind of meh but monster 6 is really nice where it is! Pretty hype for Draphion in this patch, one of my favorite Johto Pokemon. Mega-Houndoon was definitely a viable option here aswell! See you in the next one!

Thank you for the continuous support! I'm somewhat more excited for Monster 9 purely because they run fast at low HP individuals. In the era of Dynamax Band and baby items, I think this truly matters a lot! Situational, but strong. Drapion is SICK and I cannot wait to try him soon. Wasn't he introduced in Gen 4 though?

ghost dark is a pretty fun comp! any thougths on mixing in dragons with dark region? btw, how come it says you're a top 100 player when ur elo isnt close to top 100?

Truth be told, I ended up getting an 8th before this lobby and lost a crazy amount of LP in a quick play lobby. I forgot to exit a game in before round 6 and paid the price by going to the movies. To make matters worse, I ended up getting a 5th right after to try and redeem myself haha I will gain the ELO back quickly and in the end it won't matter too much. The thought processes, positioning, item combinations, etc. are still from a Top 100 Player perspective.

Why not assault vest on houndoom so he can cast easier? Red orb isn’t doing much for him it seems

Yeah in hindsight I probably should have just full sent on Houndoom since the items were already on him, but like another comment was saying, I probably should have sold/waited to put them on Bisharp overall. Either way, both ways of playing probably would have mattered more than what I was doing lol
