Great video!! Just a quick question when u say u soft reset, does this mean u do it at the start (which u had predicted and did it advanced) or after the second badge and u redo the whole plot??

So a soft reset can be like anywhere early in the game, but since it was my starter, I had to re do the intro and getting my Pokémon stuff first! Thanks for watching:)

Why did you not use Tepig that evolves to Emboar?

P explains this a bit, but here's more detail. because of the level cap requirement; and there are no pokemon that you can catch before gym one that begin with E AND keep at the level cap of 14 for the first gym. if P had picked tepig, it would need leveled to 36 to evolve, but wouldn't be eligible for use until uh, maybe Skyla's gym or the one after (i can't remember the level caps off the top of my head). as P explained, he decided to swap tepig out for the elgyem as it meant giving up an eligible pokemon later (emboar) so that he had something~ to use for gym 1. neither of the other starters have an eligible evolution for this run, so tepig was the only option for P's choice, which i assume was to keep it as fair and balanced as he can while also making the run possible.
