I always get that magikarp and it always is used in my playthrough. I can't find any other water type that can beat it. I loved it so much I even used the magikarp and never evolved it in my other playthroughs and loved having magikarp be set up to use tackle to win the match. The most fun thing as kid!!!

try putting like a overlay for ur gameplay because these black borders on the left and right are not so pretty 2 look at. I like this Series man keep it up!

skill issue. Some people won't eat dinner around the world. Enjoy without expecting so much. From someone who never had their own room.

Won't get a fire type until just before Celadon. Vulpix around level 20. Evolves with firestone. I would hold off until you get ponyta in cinnabar. Or sometimes I forgo a fire type and get a gengar in lavender tower. Has high special and flamethrower will hit like a truck. But do what you do, bro. Its your playthrough.

Why level 18? Might aswell go to level 20 and evolve it.
