Pokemon: Blue VS Cynthia

I'm sorry to announce that I won't have much free time over the next few months thanks to univerity.
Still, I'll keep my uploading scedule of one new video every 2 weeks, but expect every second video to be a remake of one of my older videos. I'm sorry, but I just can't find the time for more at the moment.
Original description:
After some not so thrilling rival-battles, this one should be a little more exciting:
Gary motherf***ing Oak, ahem, I mean Blue VS Cynthia.
Again, it's a quite close battle, both have an equally strong and balanced pokemon-team. I don't want to spoil the outcome, so just watch it :-)
I don't own Pokemon,it's owned by Nintendo and GameFreak.

Blue did come up with a perfect team to beat the elite 4 during Gen 1. Alakazam was op for a psychic 2nd to mewtwo, and Gen 2 he had tyranatar which was also as good.

Alakazam with his boosted psychic could have sweeped Roserade and does a lot of damage to the other pokes. And Arcanine without flamethrower or flare blitz?, Blue could beat Cynthia easier than the match, but I think you did it for the show and for a close battle. Anyway, nice video and battle!!! :)

Spiritomb back then wasn't weak to fairy types. I learned to use odor sleuth and used a fighting type move. It actually worked

May in the remakes would be a good match since she's actually TRYING to put up a good fight; though instead of five Pokemon with a Mega Evolution starter, giving her both Swampert and Combusken for a full team of six would make the battle more sporting and entertaining. Plus, new-gen May having the two starters is actually canon.

Fareena Rasheed this battle means nothing, blue is played by a real person, and can switch out, you need to use Reds pokemon with the exact moves his knows, put both at level 50, and battle Red with Cynthias pokemon and see what moves each of Reds pokemon would use against each of Cynthias, and vice versa, and use the appropriate moves they each would use in order to find out

I think it is a bit fake :D, well, i used almost the same pokemons as blue while i was playing platinum (not exactly the same, but it was about 50% the same team) and i couldn't beat Cyntia... I gave up... but he managed to beat her... and i couldn't do it even after 10 tries.

These battles are gameplay based. In one video, Alder defeated N's legendary when it was supposed to sweep the former champion's team. I think that every champion (except for Alder who became one by request) are equals.

Dude time sure flies by i was just a little kid when i used to watch this guy's videos. Even after all these years i still come back to check on some of his work and they're still just as entertaining. Blue is arguably my favorite trainer in pokemon and this channel definitely played a good role to make him one of my favorites. Seeing him as a little kid beating about everyone in those battles just always hyped me. And his theme kicking in during battle was always epic. The idea of muting the sound and instead just playing the character's theme is genius and adds to the charm of these videos.

Honestly Cynthia would demolish Blue in a real match up. This guy didn't select the smart moves for her, She wouldn't stay in at a type disadvantagewith Roserade and Arcanine. She would have switched out!

dude both sides have the moves the games give them he changed absolutely nothing both sides have advantages over the other, one side has a human player who very rarely heals and tries to play like the AI while the other is an AI who heals blues team has much more type coverage bulk and power than Cynthia who seems to rely on 3 Pokemon, lucario togekiss, and garchomp. Roserade is easily one shot, spiritomb has crap stats compared to others, milotic has few deadly attacks. Blue has earthquake, ice beam, hydro pump on blastoise for coverage and stab as well as a sitrus berry to make it bulkier i could go on but I have needed out enough

DarkArticuno if anything Blue had the disadvantage because he was restricted with the moves when Types determined whether it's a Physical or Special attack. Ex. Arcanine couldn't learn a physical fire move because all fire moves were only classified as a special atk. in Gen 1-3.
