I don't see the problem of your male politoed against cute charm ability, reason for that is cute charm will only work with contact moves (bullet punch, fake out, flare blitz, etc) and your politoed only has non-contacting moves. Vivillon has high chance to land sleep powder because of its ability compound eyes that boost the user's accuracy to 30% more.

The gender of the politoed doesn't matter, all of its moves don't make contact so cute charm has no effect.
