They are not the same and not backwards compatible. No DDR version has ever been compatible with previous gen motherboards. I'd like a 3rd game regardless. Yea im concerned about a new dev team but the updates were so spaced out for RoR2 that I'm not exactly thrilled about playing the next one to come to ps5. As for the Doom Eternal story, I've been in and seen 'similar-ish' (luckily nowhere that intense) situations in the past and I'm "willing to bet" that Micks side of the story is most probably the more truthful one. It's scary being a single person or a small company against a gigantic corporation! Big companies are big companies and they do big company things for big company reasons. Hoping that it gets resolved in a peaceful, fair and sensible manner!

@Cammers I just have a very fond love for Gen 4 (my favorite generation) & saw nothing wrong with the remakes. I say they were better than the original Diamond/Pearl for my personal opinion. Sure, they could've been even better remakes like HeartGold was to Gold (which HeartGold/SoulSilver are also in my top 5), but I'm also fine with how BDSP turned out. In some ways, I liked it went for the classic chibi look rather than the same old character look we've had since X & Y. I enjoyed the new pal park, the new underground, fairy typing being in the game & it was just fun times for me to go through Gen 4 again classically via BDSP. Also the rematches between the gym leaders & the rematches in the elite four were nothing to scoff at. I liked the "playing it safe" approach, but I can also see why that was such a turn off for so many people.

It's actually insane. Sony are the greediest, most hypocritical company in existence. They charge through the nose for games on their store, locked down their IPs for the longest time so the only way you could play their games was if you purchased a console, and they made decisions that are completely anti-consumer. They are the leaders in anti-consumerism and they want it to stay that way.The fact that anyone is actually listening to them and they're being taken seriously is just astounding. @@Gino_567 honestly, I agree. Also, I’m no fan of MS, however they did offer a 10 year contract where Activision games (specifically COD) stays on other platforms. I doubt MS would want to lose the profits that come from the thousands upon thousands of people who do play on other platforms. As for your comments on Sony, you’re not wrong mate. It’s absolutely insane how many popular IPs they have. GOW, Spiderman, a chunk of the Japanese market, etc. I know so many people who had to switch to PS because they wanted those AAA titles. Not to mention how the XBOX Game Pass is objectively a more pro consumer deal compared to PS+. By no means is MS perfect, far from it, however Sony of all companies lobbying against them and rallying ANY support is shocking and disappointing.

In regards to the Risk of Rain news, Hopoo Games - the main developers of Ror1 and 2- are no longer involved at all in development. One of the devs said that they could play an advisory role in the future but that is it. Meaning it is all on Gearbox now to continue the IP.

The story themes and voice acting for the Legacy of Kain series was so ahead of its time with the limited graphics and tech restraints. I would love to play a remake or continuation of the series the world the time travel the sword Kain, and Rahzel are so epic. If they had hindsight for there to be a trilogy or series of games tell Kains story where you learn the world through Kain and become a vampire, Blood omen then the 2nd game plays the betrayal of Kain from Raziel perspective Soul Reaver and ultimately how there faits are intertwined ..

@@ParasyteGG Well, the problems with Telltale Games weren't widely circulated until suddenly they were in hot water and stories about their culture started to surface. Small indie devs suddenly with cash on their hands managing a burgeoning team and faced with the pressure of needing to repeat their success don't always make for the healthiest work environments. Nothing to suggest that Supermassive Games are mismanaging anything to my knowledge, just that it's a hard task and we've seen some other studios not up to the task on a personal and professional level.

Correction for the Yuji Naka story: the a alleged Insider Trading occurred in 2020 when he still worked at Square Enix, and the shares were for the outside developer SE contracted to make the DQ game. The studio having never worked with Square before, it was clear that the announcement of the game would spike their share price. Some of the other SE employees arrested bought as much as $336k of the company's stock before the announcement.

If you can't distinguish between paying for timed exclusivity(which even Xbox is completely MONETARILY capable of doing just as they did with TOMB RAIDER 2013) and outright buying a MULTIBILLION dollar game PUBLISHERS like ZENIMAX(6th largest overall) for 7 billion and ACTIVISION(4th largest overall) for 69 billion on the back of their trillion dollar parent Company with a history of anti-competetive practices(to the extent that it was sued by the US GOVT in 1999 for anti-trust) which it's competitor, Sony cannot, then you are nothing more than a dead bot fanboying over a gaming console. You either game way too much and/or are getting fleeced by your electric company, have a terrible overage penalty or started using heat-A/C more, which has gone up dramatically. They don't cost that much to run. Barely over $400 a year for me and that's at least 6 hours a day running that card at 100% usage which it is not nearly most of the time.

On Star Wars Squadrons, I tried it on release and was expecting a control scheme similar to Ace Combat. Tried it again with a HOTAS, even worse. Which is a real bummer as I love Star Wars with fond memories of Rogue Squadron

I reckon this will turn out to be Hellena Taylor 2.0. There's always two sides to every story. Bethesda not saying anything might lead people to think they have nothing to refute Gordon's claims with...however, the opposite could easily be true. It would be stupid to publicly reveal information you would, at some later point, want to use in court. There is no sense in throwing away your ammunition before all the enemy are dead. All Bethesda did really with the statement they made was a bit of legal posturing...they batted the ball back to Gordon and now it's up to him to determine if he wants to take it further...if he can afford to.

I've recently found Fortnite to be pretty fun with a friend or two. Just wacky antics for the most part and tons of fun skins/emotes or whatever. It's nice to just do a halfass try at playing a battle royal game, but also a ton of creator content to change it up.

I am having a fun time with Pokemon, I am getting frame issues but other than that the game is very fun. Not run into any major bugs after 20 hours of play and I have mitigated a lot of the slow downs by turning off the autosave feature

The only issues I have had is the absolutely awful framerate and the camera bugging into the ground during battles, but I am enjoying the game quite a bit. Almost finished the Pokédex too

@@PredictTheFuture if you play docked you can go to the switch options and lower the tv resolution to 720p and turn off auto save in the in-game options. Both things have helped me with frame rate

Can't believe that Sony is still butthurt about the Microsoft + Activision Blizzard deal. Yeah it is objectively bad when there are less and less independant studios who make games, but at the same time if there is one big company that I'd trust to not fuck things up after an acquisition like this, it's Microsoft, yet Sony is going all in on the offense just so this deal doesn't pass, yet they have absolutely zero intention of stopping all their anti-consumer practices. The more time passes and the less I care about this deal overall, but the more I want to see Call of Duty off the Playstation just so it hurts Sony. How can you say that this will hurt the competition with a straight face when for the past 10 years all you've done is buy studios to make games exclusive to the Playstation, and even pay developpers to get bonus items or pre-order bonuses unique to the Playstation, let alone the fact that it's been proven that Sony pays developpers just so their games either don't come on the Xbox, or come later than the Playstation version, or staight up never come to the Xbox Gamepass which is a really good deal, much much better thah anything Sony is offering. After all of this, Sony still has the balls to talk about the acquisition hurting the competition lol.

I'm loving Pokémon right not but that's mostly because my expectations for the performance were pretty much in the ground already. Game Freak are just not good at making 3d games, that on top of their very short Dev cycle means that this was always going to be a bit of a mess. I can't say it's laziness or lack of care though since the game has massively changed the formula and the world is huge and very rewarding to explore.

As a person who cant really enjoy current-gen gaming outside of low-spec indies because of hardware (and monetary) restrictions: Fortnite is a really good game, is it perfect? Not at all, it can be super janky, the balance can be stupid, and it can be quite infuriating sometimes. But its just a really good game, that is available for anyone to play, whether they have low-end hardware, or cant afford streaming services ^^

With Monopoly concerns aside the fact Microsoft enabled someone who works hard for their money to buy a 299 console along with Gamepass and give access to hundreds of games is pro consumer. Nintendo and Sony both want 60 to 70 per game along with paying a lot of money for their consoles. The irony is Sony doesn't care about "less choices for gamers" they want to be the only choice

I'm suprised they never made Just Dance a VR game now as most consoles don't have native tracking controllers anymore outside of VR. We don't have move on PS5 and we don't have Kinect on Xbox Series anymore.
