Yeah. I remember accidentally learning about Sweet Scent's effect once while I was playing like FireRed I think. I misclicked it when I was trying to switch my team around and figured out it would automatically start a battle, though I didn't see the use at the time since I figured I can just run around in the grass and achieve the same effect.

A level 15 would only be able to gain stats 14 times, so it would only be able to be as strong as a level 29. That would likely make the early game quite difficult, although not as much as this actual challenge. The weird part would be once you catch something past level 50, since it could gain stats that would surpass a level 100 of that species. But that would only be in the really late game.

That leveling clamperl story was absolutely me.
