Actually that is a very good question why didn’t the gen 3 character and mom move into the same town as the father? That’s 2 routes and another town over and unless the mother has a team or a strong mon herself they have to constantly deal with either flying over or walking in tall grass like it’s not a long walk but why live in another town with the only person of interest being the professor.
