Graded both of my Van Gogh Pikas in a PSA 10. Sold the spare for $360 a few weeks back. Nightmare fuel seeing the prices to the moon. I knew it was stupid they were sitting around 2-300 they’re such cool pieces. No regrets though hope the buyer enjoys it!

@@Notmyname64 I definitely expect at some point “modern grails” get redefined entirely and drop hard. Cards like Van Gogh Pika will become much more sought after knowing the supply is gone.

My friend, I traded my perfect dupe copy of moonbreon I pulled for $330 when so I get it haha. Only thing that makes me happy is that it was a friend of a friend, she had all the other vmax ever alts and had an art piece going in her house, collected Pokemon from day 1, my friend reached out and asked me about it and then I met with her and she told me the story and how much she wanted a clean copy. I couldn’t resist, sometimes knowing it goes to a collector who will appreciate makes it really joyous knowing how much happiness you brought them… but yeah, mega L on the money end haha.

@@defil3d I somewhat agree, I think top 10 modern Grails will stick around permanently. Then it gets patchy after that, but overall yeah, I think the vast majority of newer stuff is going down long term

Remember, this card is english and partnered with the most recognizable artist (ofc he isnt around, it’s the museum) in the world. Those are the main reasons why demand is high and will stay high.

Cgc got a lot of crap from when they graded a card cut by scissors and then got nasty after they got exposed instead of apologising and doing better!! Who wants to buy from that company! Psa are the gold standard and black labels are crazy prices! Psa don't change their case, cgc changed theirs now their old slabs look stupid then they did the cgc 10 then cgc pristine which was a dumb move.
