I've tried a nuzlocke... It was going great until I met a Ho-oh and it was the most fickle pokemon.. It took hours to catch. And then after I caught it, I was done.. That was my Elite Four

The 2019 Emerald Nuzlocke was so far the best one. It had EVERYTHING. The double wipe-out at the early game, I pogged IRL when he got Dunsparce out of the Wynaut Egg, the re-return of Butt, a high level disappointment, MrDonutGirls' cousin making a cameo. One hit KO sadness

I have an emerald randomizer and mine is a decade old. It has two options I always select. One is that wild pokemon are stage locked, meaning a stage 1 pokemon won't randomize into a stage 3, only a stage 1. The second is that all gym leaders and E4, etc, always have fully evolved pokemon. I can only assume Scykoh either didn't have access to these settings in his randomizer or decided to make it easier on himself. Either way, this painfully simple E4 was completely avoidable. I also turn on "Trainer pokemon can know TM moves". That's a good one.
