Really enjoyed this series! Was a blast watching from day 1. I feel like the defeat to the 2nd gym really helped in creating that feeling that anything can go terribly wrong at any time, and while something similar never did actually happen it did have its effect either ways. Also totally gonna take credit for that night shade on old mold, the run was half won at that moment I tell you!

Vegeta started as the main antagonist killing the entire first team and sacrificing himself to kill granbull, came back to life defying or heroes, but we discovered he wanted to enter the crew and redeem himself. He was accepted on team and after years sharping his mind and strengthening his body at hyperbolic time chamber, finally his time comes after one of our legends fall. By this day he fought with his entire soul to bring the team to the top, and ending finally redeeming himself dying at this dramatic final battle. Just the first place of top 10 best anime characters archs ever.

that steven fight seems like fighting red with a full team of 6 in gsc since you’ll always be 20-25 levels below his entire team *and i was able to do it with my team in crystal and then beat him in a solo run in silver*

Just wish he’d use more than legendary Pokémon and Pokémon that can’t evolve. One of the best parts of a randomized game is seeing what the Pokémon evolve into. Like Bunwiz. He evolved twice before becoming a tank. But half his team was like that from the start. A fully evolved or legendary Pokémon.
