The umbreon tanked for 2 days because some seller did a sell at 4.99$. Then his “friends” swooped up on a dozen that went down to 1000-1200$ . TCG noticed it and fixed it but it was already too late. It’s shady as hell that people pull that crap.

Seriously couldn’t believe it. The Giratina is at psa fingers crossed 🤞 The leafeon I don’t think makes sense to grade with the 10 being only slightly more expensive after fees!

This current Pokémon community is making me get out of the hobby. People pushing and fighting in stores, no products available anywhere, not being able to trust local game stores to not mark up to ridiculous prices, and having to join discord servers in order to have slight chance of getting anything. All this together has ruined the enjoyability of the hobby for me. Your videos are the only bright spot I still see in the space! Thanks your for all that you do

Only found out about the craze 3 days ago. I was a huge fan when i was a kid. I had that taken away from me, when my brother stole and sold all my cards. I gave up then😂 25 years later and 15 hours of straight researching later. I gotta say, this is gonna be fun to catch em all. I see what these “scalpers” are doing. Consider them as part of team rocket and you just have to beat them too, in the semi nicest way. Just as ash would. It wouldn’t be as fun without them I guess is what i’m trying to say. Anyways i bought a few prismatic, steller, 151 booster packs and 3 new mini tins. Hella fun! i was unlucky in all “apparently “ but man was i happy to see a golduck again☺️ i also took a small pikachu figurine and a moonbreon ( still not sure what it actually is, dog ?cat? Both? Spelling correct?😅) Pokemon for life🧢☺️💪🏽☄️ addicts are losers Damn, this hobby is gonna be expensive. Gonna need a pokecar

U should look at the tag team cards, reshiram&zekrom with N on their back. Just the regular one is like 60 bucks, when most regular tag teams in the teens, 20s. Even the alt art reshiram&zekrom popping.

I just got 2 Shrouded fable ETB at target for $40 each! I was in line at gamestop but sold out within 10 people, I was about 17th in line. They had 17 blooming waters and 26 mini tins. All sold before half the line was through! Crazy price changes for some of these. Thanks for always sharing your information! 👊

I sent my Terastal festival Espeon and Leafeon masterball, SAR Glaceon, and my SIR bubble mew to get graded at GameStop. All came back as PSA 10! So hyped! Also I got the bubble mew out of a $10 tin 😂🎉

Hey beard, do people actually like or want English masterballs? I feel like people just want them because they think other people will want them and they want to make money off them. They just don’t hit like the sir cards do. Gold and rainbow cards don’t hold much value, so why would these ? People just seem to like the full illustration cards these days .

I like the master balls. I think it adds value to cards that would typically just be considered bulk and a lot of those cards have great art but are overlooked since they aren’t SIRs. I think the sales are also light on these because they were so expensive people are waiting for them to drop and price which they all are. I think the market will start to stabilize when the top ones get o the $50 range. Just my thought though I’m also curious in Beards take.

people only like them because they're kind of rare. I think they're so much better than regular reverses but not enough to replace illustration rares.

Can you do a segment on sealed products that has actually done worse than MSRP ? For example, mostly recently, the Charizard EX super premium collection. came out at about 75 msrp. Now the market is 60.

I hate when people try to manipulate the market so they can buy cheap and resell at a higher cost. If you buy a large amount of cards because you plan to make a play is still different then having fake sales

Hey beard, I just recently got back a psa submission and got a bunch of 9's. Some of the cards were the Raging Bolt EX from temporal forces, Blastoise EX and Venusaur EX from 151, and the Ceruledge from surging sparks. If you were in this situation, would you rather keep them in the slab graded or crack them back to their raw card form?
