@AManHas NoName Well, guess I'll have to explain my reasoning... Sorry for the long post beforehand xD. Snakes and other animals often intimidate by making themselves look as tall/big as possible. Yet this Steelix lowered its head to match the height of the girl. Nor did this Steelix position itself (in a protective manner) before or even next to the girl (as an equal), but instead positioned itself behind the girl. All this despite being able to crush her within a minute. So to me this Steelix isn't furious looking, but obedient yet powerful looking. Which can be interpreted as the Steelix showing her the respect she earned from it. And since it's a mega she clearly also earned its trust. The girl looks straight ahead, doesn't laugh or grin, and doesn't tilt her chin up. She also doesn't seem embarrassed, or even care at all, about the wind catching below her dress. To me this is what someone who is serious looks like. Since she looks and probably is young (especially for a gym leader). And the Pokémon universe has humans like ours. It would be logical to assume she has had to deal with older trainers looking down upon her for her age on multiple occasions. Just like young people in high positions have to deal with in our world. So yes I do think she demands to be taken serious (demand proper respect) the way she is drawn and positioned in this art. Since it's art you're free to interpret it however you like, but so are we.

Sure thing! I actually started doing remixing in the demo version of FL Studio which is free. The demo comes with full functionality; however, you won't be able to open saved projects until you purchase the software. So what I did for a while was work on one project and instead of shutting down my computer, I would keep my computer on or in Sleep Mode so that I wouldn't lose my project. You can still save your project, you just won't be able to open it until you get the full version. Hopefully this helps a little. Good luck! :D

@@lyuke3653 heres a story. Pokemon gold was my first pokemon game. Did t know anything about it except that i wanted to fit in with some kids at school. I started playing and chose cyndiquil cuz i thought it looked cool and cute. I had a quilava before i even fought the bird gym. I also had gastly. I thought gastly was weak but i figured since my pokemon was kinda weak at first maybe gastly would be stronger once evolved. Had that haunter whole game and never found out about it being a trade evolution until it was level 45 and still hadnt evolved. So i used quilava who was level 27 at the time, and haunter at level 26. They both made quick work of her, between smokescreen from quilava and hypnosis from haunter took her miltank down quickly. And only haunter was female

Just had a thought: in the next gen games, the gym leader battle theme should vary slightly depending on their primary type. And no, changing the start of a song should never count as a different song altogether (looking at botw's stardard battle themes). Same main melody/?motif? with different instruments. E4 could use local instruments/remix for their theme, and the champion could get a complete rearrangement, using local instrument as their most dominant sound (As the champion is representing the region as its strongest trainer), backed by using instruments that represented the gym leaders and Elite 4. Showing that their (the champion's) experience has culminated into this moment, facing you.
