Gosh I remember when I used to be totally obsessed with this remix back in the day when I was only 15. Oh my god.. it brings back such fond memories of how I used to listen to this everyday. I Remember how terrifying Lance was in the Pokémon Manga, the best part about how crazy evil the Elite four were in Pokémon special red and blue always bought chills down my spine It was insane and so is this song. Even in the game his team was terrifying. Especially when you rematch him and he has a freakin’ Gyarados.

I don’t know if you still look at comments on this video or how that works exactly, but do you think you could do a Version of this song that represents the fight against Red. The change could be something as little as replacing the Dragonite Cry with Pikachu’s Gen 1/2 cry (or even the Yellow cry), since Pikachu is Red’s highest Level pokemon. Or you could change it more to be even more epic and grand than ever to signify that this is the final and greatest fight you will ever face in this game.

This is actually Lance from the pokémon special manga(the picture that is). The much more sadistic pokémon love/hating member of the Elite 4, trying to destroy anyone that does not posses a specific power explained in the manga itself. The Aerodactyl is used merely as transportation, Dragonite is his main offensive force, his 2 Dragonairs are his primairy defense, and his gyarados is just for shits and giggles. :x

@behemuth that wasnt my point. I was saying that you should get points toward the stat that you would use the most in a certain battle. So beating down pokes with high defense would train your attack. It would just be the same thing, 6 stats and 4 are reversed for EV gain.

In the Pokemon Adventures Manga, Lance is from the Viridian Forest and can control Dragon/pseudo dragon Pokemon. Maybe thats why his Dragonite is LV 40, spamming his powers and shit, he's also the bad guy in the Manga, I like that twist from the show.

@tidus1336 The Hoenn Manga was an attempt to make the main/main character's starter have the advantage over the rival/female character's starter, because in R/S/E you could play as either character, and choosing would decide your rival as well. In the game the rival is the one who is more interested in pokemon contests, so this was a play on the usual pokemon thing. Therefore, the main character is still ruby, but in the game it would be sapphire.

Thats right. Feraligatr was MY GUY. I wouldnt had beaten Lance without him. He's been the most Reliable pokemon I have EVER had. He's gotten me out of every single bad situation ever. And stayed up to fight whatever it was like a champ. Barely surviving himself, but puling though. Thank you Feraigater. I really cant beat lance in gold/silver without him. With the other starters. I barely pull through.
