This game has so much potential. For a demo that is still in development, the battle mechanics are very polished (apart from balance issues of course...Growlithe OP). Wish they would continue developing this. I still showcase this to my friends from time to time and it still makes their jaw drop every single time.

People enjoy this game for what it is, arceus should be looked at as a product from a multibillion dollar company and by that standard its kinda bad

This is how Pokemon battle SHOULD take place in the actual Pokemon games. Real-time combat. Usually you can only have 4 moves at a time; so those should be mapped to the face buttons and targetting, blocking, and evasion should be the shoulder buttons. It's a shame that it always takes the fans to come up with an obvious concept that we all want but never happens in the officially licensed games. The same goes for Sonic fan games. The developers should learn from this, instead of just shutting them down.

This videogame should be released and rebranded as a side story to the Pokemon franchise; if Gamefreak doesn't want to fund it or have anything to do with it...that's fine with me. I just want to finally be able to play a mature Pokemon videogame that has elements of an RPG, MMO and a 3rd person action game. I am now 30 years old; I won't be playing or thinking about Pokemon in 5-10 , I will be busy with a wife and 2-3 kids...hopefully. ;) I would really like/prefer a Pokemon RPG/MMO to be released before I lose all interest. I only just started to be involved in the series after a 10-15 year hiatus.

They need pokken tournament gameplay (with less flashy affects), and put that in full 3-D RPG version. An action RPG. That would be the best. I know most in the world would want that, but it will most likely never happen. They have had comments in the past relating to similar topics. IT would make tons of more lifetime fans of nintendo systems. I know I would buy the latest nintendo console for it and forever and ever! Heck, I want one for pokken tournament alone actually.

Also, as a side note, why aren't there any Pokemon characters in Mario and Co. Sports titles...which Nintendo releases almost annually?.I was thrilled when Ryo Hazuki was included in Sega All-star Racing, but I really prefer HD ports of Shenmue 1 and 2 instead. Plus, what happened to Shenmue 3,4,5,6,etc. ?! I can't even finish the second game in the series, because that would mean a dead end, story wise and I would have to wait decades for the sequels. ;/
