Cyrus (Platinum) and Giovanni are by far my favorites. Cyrus was so crazy, he actually kind of scared me. And his goal to rid the world of emotion was not something to scoff at. However, Giovanni is better. He created his own legendary pokemon, took over the pokemon equivalent of the Microsoft company, and even after he was defeated and went into hiding, his team pursued his villainous goals for THREE YEARS without so much as a peep from him. Teams Magma and Aqua were just weak.

You're just like me. Gold was my first pokemon game. Matter of fact, my first video game I owned. I've played so much, I remember playing it with a bunch off ppl in my neighborhood. Believe me, everyone had it there. At home, I'm lying at the floor playing and all this stuff. A remake will be the best ever to bring back the greatest memories.

I just love how all the generation of villains stood for something. Team Rocket was the Mafia, Magma and Aqua were rivaling gangs, Galactic was a crazy ass cult and Plasma was a radical activist group. Team Rocket still being the best (in my opinion).

@Blaze1616 Some of the Rocket grunts had Pokemon from the Sandshrew, Abra, Spinarak and Houndour evolutionary lines in gen 2. Magma used various fire/rock/ground types while Aqua used various water types as well. Galactic uses many different ones, although yes variety is an issue with all of them.

@AkamaBara1 Are you sure? In the game I don't remember anything being said about Team Rocket inside of the lab on Cinnabar. The only thing that I can relate is that Mr. Fuji who was a scientist on Cinnabar was captured by Team Rocket earlier in the game. There is no record that Team rocket did anything with the experiment. (In the game though, in both the anime and Manga that's a different story).

The Gen 5 games were just that, more serious. The hero/heroine were older than ten, Team Plasma's goal was much deeper than simply "Pokemon liberation" if you actually break it down, and the plot was more than just get eight badges and beat the elite four.

They're official and called Pokemon Adventure. You can buy them off the internet or a comic book store. Instead of Ash, it follows the title protagonists from each game. so one arch will be about Red,with Blue and Green. Next is Yellow after that is Gold with Silver and Crystal and so on. It's a long running series. It has more of a story than the anime and games. There are a lot of dark moments and fun twists all based on the original games.

It's possibly because they wanted to emphasize that a Gyarados is really weak to Electricity and strong against other types like Grass or Steel, which is usually unorthodox of a Water Pokemon. Although it does lose resistance to Rock Types, it can plow through them either way.

Bug/Steel is such a terrible typing for it, as it can be easily defeated by many legendary and non-legendary Pokemon, such as the fully evolved fire starters (maybe not Emboar).

So what, I didn't say that when Pokemon evolve they don't change type. I said the Pokemon itself doesn't change type, meaning you are not going to see a Pokemon in GSC be a different type in RSE. The only exception is Magnamite and Magnaton, but all they did is add a type. you are never going to see a pokemon lose a type.

Actually only Cyrus got ticked off. Three years after Giovanni was defeated, he planned to ressurrect Team Rocket. Archie and Maxie were the only ones to really notice their wrongdoing.
