Just a heads up to anyone playing this game. You can technically ignore the rocket plot line and go straight for the 8th gym, however if you do this it will cause some kind of bug that doesn't end the rocket event when you finish it so you'll be blocked from completing the game. So always do the rocket event before the 8th gym

Yep. Of the 23 individual Pokémon that the 8 gym leaders use, only 4 are from Johto: Whitney’s Miltank, Jasmine’s Steelix, Pryce’s Piloswine, and Clair’s Kingdra. And on top of that, Steelix and Kingdra were added as final evolutions of Kanto Pokémon.

It is actually a super compelling tale about environmentalism and local communities trying to protect a historic way of life, versus government forward planning trying to assure their citizens a stable supply of food. But again a 5-year-old reinterpreted those events into what we got in Hoenn.

Zwiggo always severely lacked pokemon knowledge and doesn’t bother to put in the effort to build proper teams because he bum rushes content out. Look at how he whined in his Radical Red Normal-type challenge, tells u everything u need to know. Sometimes poketubers just need to come off their high horse, take the time to understand the game they are currently playing and actually read up on stuff, and runs can be so much more smoother and be actually interesting for us the viewers to watch.

Silver has Ho-Oh in pokemon Masters and considering that it's a licensed product, that nothing said by the characters in pokemon masters contradict the canon of the main series game and that these characters ARE supposed to be the ones from the main series game.. then I think it's pretty canon for silver to have Ho-Oh
