I actually REALLY wanna see this expanded, I'm like legit hooked on the story. I like how the beast isn't some aperation that appeared out of nowhere, and it actually had a legit Pokémon like origin if it escaped the lab. I wanna know what exactly the professor was trying to do with it. Maybe Mewtwo could be involved in the plot. Really go whole hog in the genetic tampering themes. Pokémon's universe has really dark undertones, man.

When they were working on creating a mew that would have a more aggressive nature (and actually battle) that's when the dittos were accidentally made. Then after that, they made this rat thing that escaped and murdered all the dittos. At least I think that's what happened, I was mashing the "a" button constantly because Sun and Moon have way too many cut scenes. So yeah, I wonder what horrors the pokemon world holds that are still classified. Could be like Pokemon SCP.

If you look at it, it most closely resembles bulbasaur Vines? 🟢 The uhh, bulb? 🟢 So most likely what happened was Trainers picked Pokémon, bulbasaur wasn’t’ picked and so he was made into research material! yeah there's some weird Pokemon out there, from ghost types once being kids to to mega evolutions that physically hurt the Pokemon in the process. I think the one that takes the cake for me is Palossand and Sandyghast though. Palossand traps Pokemon in its sand castle mouth and sucks the life force from them, and the grudge/vengeance of the Pokemon and potentially small kids killed forms Sandyghast, which creates a loop. I mean that's definitely an interesting way to procreate.

For the people who dont get it, i think what the professor meant by "candy" is rare candies, which if you don't know, are items that when used make pokemon go up 1 level, and maybe the "failed experiment" or whatever it's called ate all that Tommy had and went up a lot of levels and maybe even evolved. Buuuut the whole reason of why he can't actually make the monster stop it's because he actually never captured it (everyone knows of the pokeball doesn't go "click" then you failed to catch it)
