Seems like every set that comes out anymore every is underwhelmed and then they open it and everyone loves it

Because everyone is waiting for the next evo skies and is only paying attention to the SAR (which I agree are lacking.) They when they open it they saw how artist the AR are. Metagross, Gastly, heliolisk, reuniclus? These are incredibly beautiful artworks but they get no love aside from Gastly because they aren't SAR so no one even notices them until they start cracking boxes.

I agree and I’m not waiting on evo. I thought TWM would be trash and was semi wrong. Better set than expected we see a lot of illustrations late. Cards look better in person

​@@nickcarballo6039we alreqdy got a second evolving skies. It's called paldea evolved. It's going to be the most expensive most sought after set but the end up sv block. All the sets that have a form of the word 'evolve' always go crazy. Xy EVOLUTIONS. SS EVOLVING skies. SV Paldea EVOLVED. That's what pokemon do. They evolve. They use a form of the word only in the banger sets. Iono sir is absolutely insane. Also everyones going nuts over the magikarp right now too. But look at the paldea evolved set list. Every card is insane.

All I’ll say is that it’s a good thing that they incorporate older gen mons and into these newer sets…. Makes it a lil easier to like until you get ua d to the newer mons

Japanese 151 sub-60 is really the only thing I'm picking up right now. Shrouded fable is a trap set in my opinion because it's a mini set. Very few cards in each rarity tier. Unless they massively nerf hit rates I see this being Obsidian Flames part 2 but without charizard

Hard agree shrouded fables best cards are the promos. Maybe grab night wander instead? Me personally I'll be scrounging store to look for potential PSA 10 Greninja promos

Obsidian Fates was not a mini set. In fact it’s the biggest set in S&V. It’s more like a Celebrations than an Obsidian Flames.

@@blake7587 you're thinking of paldean fates. Obsidian Flames is the set with 5 SIRs that no one likes to open more than a few boxes of because it's basically a new darkness ablaze

i think paldean fates is a good move , with these new sets coming and with horrible pull rates sets like crown zenith and paldean fates and 151 will go up due to awesome pull rates , also the cards in these 3 sets are fire , but deff not a short term investment more of a long term one

i did not like the last few new sets but twilight is a nice set and has peaked my interest and hope the Japanese box's stay low until i get funds to buy up some i would like to open a few boxs and try to keep a few sealed so when they rise i can make my cash flow back lol

I wouldn't be that scared. Sure, they might reprint it.. but it's a good set that people love to open. I would expect sealed to take 3-5 years... not 3-5 months
