in my case what i did was using alakazam (with a warp scarf) and frustration in its moves. i cleared it like the third or fourth time i tried it, trying to clear the dungeon without this method seems impossible at least for me.

Defeat them and hopefully they join the team. Like any pokemon, they have a recruitment rate that can go up with your level, capping at 90 and adding a 24% bonus, and by wearing a friend bow, adding a 10% bonus. Some pokemon actually have negative percentages, so you'll need to increase it into a positive number to even have a chance of recruiting them. In most cases though, you cannot recruit a legendary the first time you fight it. You'll have to revisit most of them. Jirachi has a really high recruitment rate, though. 99.9%. Pretty much a guarantee, and can be recruited on the first encounter, but won't grant any wishes if you recruit it.

Totally true. Thats the easiest way to get through Lv. 1 dungeons. Also use 3 TM Frustration and link them with a linkbox after reaching stage 50. Instead of the mobility scarf I recommend using the tight belt, so you dont have to carry apples with you. Just make sure you take at least 2 cleanse orbs with you and one escape orb for ensurance. Alakazam is also the best choice for Purity Forest. Just be on lookout for the items I called. (You can even find the tight belt in this dungeon)

Once upon a time, i was able to clear buired relic. Emphasis on once. I was able to recruit Regice but it fainted and i never saw mew. Closest i ever got to finishing it again was 68

I was extremly lucky with Mew encountering it 4 times in one run even before reaching stage 60. 4th times the charm I was able to recruit it. Just make sure to keep plenty of escape orbs to keep the PKM you want.

Haora Storm if you wanna complete pokedex easily yes....everytime you reach jirachi you can unlock a rare pokemon like chansey or other which are very difficult to recruit...or you have to leveling too long

That's really interesting, when I cleared the Wish Cave dungeon for the first time, I dropped of the Wish Rock of my bag before fighting Jirachi because I wanted to recruit Jirachi once and for all and never return to the Wish Cave because you know, that dungeon is really REALLY TOUGH, so I was never able to see what happens if you have the wish stone in the bag and Jirachi grants you a wish after you defeat it. Now thanks to you I know now, and... The first two wishes definitely aren't worth it.

I am not that far in the game. so let me get this straight. if you have the wish stone when you get to the 99th floor you get a wish and if not you get jirachi? what if you enter it a 2nd time with jirachi

if you are at max rank something good will give you a friend area i believe if you have all friend areas you will get a new recruit of a pokemon you don't yet have (i believe this includes kecleon) and if you have *every* pokemon on you team then you get money

So I went through the trouble of clearimg that hellhole and denying Jirachi as a Team member so I could use the Wosh Stone and get the free promotion to Lucario Rank. Instead a Meowth tried to join the team. Turns out you'll always get a random pokémon to join your team that isn't a legendary, version exclusive or already in your team. And only after you recruited ALL pokemon that would be available from the wish too you'll get the free promotion. So in short: unless you recruited all available pokémon (if you intend to get one with the wish) there's absolutely no reason to use the Wish.

That shouldn't be what happens however., are you playing on an original cardridge? From what i've read from reliable scources, the 'something good' wish will ALWAYS raise your rank to the next if you aren't yet lucario rank. Only then it should give out a pokemon you haven't recruited yet. After that, it shall reward money *Scource* Bulbapedia Something Good Jirachi will do one of these: -Raise the rescue rank to the next level. If any Wonder Mail missions were completed during the dungeon, the rank will be upgraded after receiving the points and rewards. -If the player's team is Lucario Rank, a Pokémon that has not been recruited will show up in front of the Team Base and can be recruited, giving the required Friend Area in the process if necessary. -If the player's team is Lucario Rank and has recruited all Pokémon, the player will receive money.

Did you by any chance have all Pokémon recruited in the video by cheats etc. ? Otherwise it seems like Bulbapedia is wrong that's what I've found from a different website: Something good! The most complicated reward. This wish can perform any one out of three possible changes, depending on circumstances. By default, choosing this wish will cause a random Pokemon to join your Rescue Team. You will also gain access to this Pokémon's Friend Area if you do not already have it. The Pokemon will be at level 1 with * for IQ. Some things to take note of: You cannot get Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Groudon, Rayquaza, Kyogre, Lugia, Castform, Deoxys, Mewtwo, Jirachi, Mew, Latias, Latios, Entei, Raikou, Suicune, Ho-Oh, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, or Celebi. You also cannot get version-specfic Pokémon which are not available in your game, unless access to those Pokémon has been activated. These Pokémon are namely Porygon, Porygon2, Magikarp, Gyarados, Feebas, Milotic, Plusle, Minun, Lapras, Mantine, Roselia or Aipom. You cannot get a Pokémon which you already have. @@solidzack That's really odd, since I do believe the site you referenced is also reliable. But the awnser to your questions is no, I did not cheat any recruits. I believe I had the gengar set to 100 on this dungeon for a quick walk in the park to show off these interactions. I also have never seen this type of issue/error in the comment section elsewhere on this video. Since I do still monitor them for help and such. Although I doubt many viewers still go for the wish after seeing this video, or even get to clear the dungeon for that matter, since it's incredibly tough. I would not know what the issue is in that case, and i'm very sorry if this information was missleading. However, you did clear the dungeon which is an incredible feat on it's own that not many people can brag about.

@@Sj-bp8dx yeah I decides to tackle taht dungeon immediately after I barely clutched Putity Forest with an Alakazam. Of course with the ability to get into the dungeon with multiple teammates and 20 items + 1 additional item per Pokémon its easier and more reliable than Purity Forest where you have to hope for good RNG. Still I wasted quite a few reviver seeds because of dumb decision making. And the fact that I managed to finally beat it only to get a Meowth is really frustrating.
