Ok, this is one of the best soundfont remixes of Zinnia’s battle theme I’ve ever heard. She has to be my absolute favorite character from Gen 6, and while Gen 6 had a general problem with all of its characters and it’s stories, she still managed to be not just one of the few good characters (alongside Emma, XY Looker, ORAS Wally, and ORAS Brendan/May), but the outright best among them all in my opinion. She had issues regarding her plans in the beginning and Delta Episode thanks to the writers not being more open to changing the old story by at least making her try her mega stone plan in the main game, as well as her receiving no punishment or even harsh lessons for setting in motion the Magma/Aqua issues as well as risking the fate of the world on her plans alone. The Adventures manga was what made me firmly change my opinion on her truly being a great character impeded by nothing less than the writing itself, where it made her genuinely feel panicked and desperate to save the world, as well as justifying her alienation of the Devon Corporation due to that Corp being incredibly more darker and visually corrupt in the manga, kidnapping a legendary, being the ones responsible for Aster’s death, and torturing said legendary when trying to find a way to control it, then later on practicing in experiments with technology so inherently disturbing and cruel that even Steven Stone himself was ashamed to be a part of it. With all of these on their record despite Mr. Stone truly only wanting to help, of course Zinnia wouldn’t want to work with them. She is still able to move past it in the manga to help everyone work together to stop the meteor and defeat the Pokémon within it. With the right writers, she has proven to be an incredible character.
