For anyone who's asking why certain 'mons are missing: A Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon is one that is the final form of a three stage line and has a Base Stat Total of exactly 600 (not counting Mega Forms). So (sadly) the likes of Flygon and Haxorus don't count.

@@cavetr0ll799 if anything I would say it has the highest chance of surviving BECAUSE of its supercomputer mind. This isn't a pokemon who can just do equations in his head with the same ease we have with breathing, but it has the mental capability of being able to analyze different scenarios and strategize the best way for it to live. If we were to turn the pokemon into humans with the same abilities, basic stuff like speed strength or mental capacity none of their powers being like shooting lasers, then Human Metagross if stranded somewhere would be able to think it's way out of that situation or even turn that area into a thriving city because he has the intelligence to figure out any problem that it would come across.

It's like if you have a plan that is planned out to the most minute of details but something unexpected happens there is a chance that everything is going to unravel.

Metagross is hands down my favorite. One thing to think about is metagross can break down with meta being short for metamorphosis or the evolution. Beldum is essentially one leg of metagross so the evolution could make sense.

Gross is also a word that means total and that plus meta could mean beyond the total. Beldum also evolve when they fuse into metang and metang do the same to evolve into metagross, so it’s name could mean that it is greater than the sum of its previous parts

Favorite is probably Metagross. Tyranitar is a close second though. I think Metagross is also derived from the words meteor and aggression (or the term aggro used for a tank like unit drawing damage).

I still personally say Dragapult would look better without his legs that are just dangling there. I think he would have looked cooler if the bottom of his body was just a ghostly tail. The legs just dangling throw me off especially how his body is wide to make his legs and then you get this thin tail. I think it would have been awesome if his body naturally thinned out to make his tail.

Poor Goodra. You’re right that it’s based on the words Goo and Dragon, but there’s more there! If you flip the words around, it can also be a play on the word Dragoon. Which sounds like dragon, but could also reference how Goodra is a non-flying dragon, similar to how dragoon’s dismounted their horses to fight.

Been playing since gen 1, and though I liked the pseudo legendarys for their sheer power, I never really loved any in particular and never felt like I NEEDED to have any. I preferred dragnaire to dragonite. I dont hate dragonite he just wasnt my thing. I really liked tyranitar and garchomp for a long time tried to have them on each of my teams but didnt feel upset if i didnt....but when I saw dragupult, I knew that that was it. Thats was gonna be on my team, no matter what. I love its derpy face, its typing is cool, its super fucking fast boy! And the fact that it just yeets its babies and the babies are just happy about it is weirldy charming and equally 😂 . I love dragupult lmfao i even went as far as designing some art stuff and trading some mon for his card. I have a crocheted stuffed animal my friend made me, which is super impressive because have you seen dragupult? I cant imagine how hard that would of been to make in crochete.... so anyway, i finally have a favorite pseudo.
