Excellent cover of an excellent bgm. I never cared for the original music in RSE, but the remakes knocked it out of the park. It was this weird combination of nostalgia, awe, and something else. I guess the better quality music than midi trumpets fixed everything for me.

the one problem swith your rival in 2nd gen and the 4th gen remakes is that almost all of his pokemon resisted you or were super effective agenst you if you chose chicorita

The third time you battle the Rival (be it May or Brendan) was always hard for me to beat. the other times are simple as long as yo have some thing to counter the starter Pokemon as in all cases of Rivals.
