Pokemon Sapphire - Battle Vs. Leader Norman

Man this battle was brutal. Between those Slakings and that Vigoroth, at least one of my pokemon was going down, sometimes I even got wiped out against them.

it is so annoying when you almost defeat the gym leaders' last pokemon and they keep using hyper potion.

I went to this gym with a lvl 33 Hariyama. He was no match at all. 1 vital throw per Slaking.

Yeah, if you started with Torchic then this battle is pretty easy since Fighting > Normal. Unfortunately, Normam is the ONLY gym leader that Combusken/Blaziken has an advantage over (well, to some extent Roxanne, but there's also the Fire type to take into consideration as well as the fact that you may only have Torchic then).

@Sarahbabieeeee1 its ok. if u train 4 or more pkmn their levels will be a little low and if u train atleast 3,thell be like around 29.

That happened to me aswell, but since I got stuck in the game I leveled up my Swampert until lv 97 , and a pelliper and azumarill between the levels of 50-60

Lol I got annoyyyed having to use teams so I got a Mudkip and a Torchic and only used them aswell as Hm slaves obv. and now there Lvl 82 & 83 And I've beat the elite four caught Latios and Rayquaza , Groudon and 3 regis whoopee ! -I need an absol ;D

Indeed, this gym is hard to beat. I remember when i had marstomp (hope i spelled it correctly) and kept losing to norman, then i started sapphire over and toke torchik and then it was much easier. now i have: Graveler 26 lv Pelipper 28 lv Sandslash 24 lv and Blaziken 40 lv and i am just about to enter this gym. Is this a good team to go agianst Norman: Lv 35 Torkoal Lv 35 Breeloom Lv 35 Swellow Lv 35 Mudkip (I want to teach it Hydro pump, and then evolve it to swampert) And My HM Slaves Lv 13 plusle Lv 7 Zigzagoon

Beat him using fighting type moves for example... Combusken knows double kick Linoone knows rock smash (and so so others pokemon) ^_^
