Magikarp in Paldea never jump more than 7 feet. Magikarp in Platinum can jump over a mountain using Splash.

The Pokedex entry in Scarlet is actually reused. It's the dex entry from all the way back in Pokemon Gold.

Without spoiling too much Scykoh, I actually recommend adding Wooper to the team (if anything just so you can see the evolved form)!

Finding secret items and new Pokemon is a blast in this game. Played many hours and didn't do the first gym or boss yet haha

Actually, Flamigo is a very cool name, because is a wordplay with Flamingo and 'amigo', which means friend in Spanish (and Portuguese)

Hey Scykoh, don’t forget to open your Pokedex and claim your rewards for gradually completing the dex!

@@naplockblubba5369 open the dex with the “ - “ button then “a” , the next screen you can see a little trophy in the lower left corner , or just press “ x “ . Depending on how many different pokemons you have you gain more rewards, silly things like balls, stones and stardust. Hope it helped !

as a skyrim and pokemon fan I love this concept of a game.

so with no evidence whatsoever I feel like with wiglett (and other mons later) these are meant to be like, a sort of convergent evolution, or separate evolutionary branch but closely related, something like that, which I think is cool, and more interesting than "same pokemon but it's a different type now, maybe looks drastically different, maybe it's just a recolor" like the different regional forms.

Picard's Log Day 4: YO! Today is going to be an amazing day I just know it! Let's get things started, shall we?! We started things off by getting into a battle with a kid named Elian who sent out his own Tarountula. Originally, Scykoh sent out Craftee but the opposing Tarountula proved too strong for Craftee so Scykoh let me play for a bit. As a result of the battle, however, Craftee at least was able to get to learn a new move called Strugglebug! ^_^ #LearningNewThingsIsFun We then encountered a wild Azurill that Scykoh caught! ^_^ However, Scykoh forgot to give this one a nickname. The wild Psyduck that he caught, however, he named Scyduck! ^_^ Ironically, however, Scyduck also got sent to...The Box...just like the Azurill. Then we encountered a wild Buizel. Scykoh let Craftee play with this furry foe. That is, until Scykoh decided to catch it! ^_^ Scykoh called it Peezel. Then we came across a wild Wiglett (If I had to guess, it is an albino (hence white) Diglett)? Scykoh nicknamed it Wiglebutt. However, for a change of pace, Scykoh added Wiglebutt to the party! YAY! ^_^ #NewFriends Scykoh then caught a Magikarp whom he named Magikarpoo. Scykoh then caught a wild Wingull who he named Peeko. Scykoh then found a TM for Protect while exploring. ^_^ Then Scykoh got *VERY* excited when he spotted a new friend! ^_^ Scykoh named this new friend Flam! #NewFriends Then Scykoh caught a wild Wooper that he named...Pooper... Then Scykoh caught a wild Ghastly that he named Ghastlybutt. Then Scykoh caught a wild Drowzee and called it Drowpee... Then we found a TM for Confuse Ray while exploring! ^_^ What will happen tomorrow? ^_^

So happy they went with this and not your old outdated way. Way better graphics and visuals. It’s 2022 I’m over those ugly Top-down view. Now it’s actually fun to explore. Love this game still not even close to finishing from exploring and finding my favorite Pokémon in the wild 🔥 Go back to ugly diamond and pearl lol.

You just have to throw balls at Pokémon level 10 or under, no damage necessary, they catch easily at that level, once again you over think
