Hello and welcome to more of my Pokemon Scarlet playthrough on Nintendo Switch! Today, we'll be tackling our second Team star base -- the poison base!

no because he'll beoverleveled for the lvl 20 base. that's not how open world even is. it's too linear themeparked to be open world. This one is not more open world than johto games were. It's the exact same thing with wider routes. The only pokemon game that is open world so far is still only a mod in minecraft.

19:15 the 3 Pokémon rule is only during the raiding. Once you're at the boss you just have your full team again of course.

Against the Startmobile - Drill Run has 80 power x 2 for being super effective = 160 power. Hyper Drill is 100 power x 1.5 due to same type attack bonus = 150 power. Hyper Drill being 100 power x 2 due to Normal-type Terrastalization = 200 power. So Hyper Drill would have done more damage than Drill Run.

I think the Swagger/Flatter is situational. If you're up against someone with an already high attack, you'd use Flatter to confuse them without risking even more damage on yourself. And then the reverse for Swagger on a special attacker.

The Starmobiles are each only the type the squad specializes in. They are also immune to status conditions and recurring damage from Salt Cure, Fire Spin, etc.

7:31 i believe the self damage is based on the stat ups of the selected attack type, like more sp atk ups, the more you take if you use like, shadow ball and hit yourself

I like how your facial animations were busted during the sandwich eating... I'm still not entirely certain what causes the facial animations to break but when it happens, both sandwich eating and Tera Raids end up with a fixed facial expressions until you reboot the game and it's kinda hilarious but also disturbing. XD

For raids you can send 1 Pokemon into a group of 3 enemies and then another into a different group of enemies and they'll just beat up all of them as long as you don't get too far away. Makes them go a little faster.

The revarooms on the cars used by the team star bosses actually use the team star bosses type

Then it comes to the big Revavroom/ Starmobile they are always single type, of the type the leader is a specialist of, like they are Terastalized. They will always have a different special ability and a typed Torque attack

if you send out a poison or steel type into toxic spikes, it eats the spikes

YO! Today is going to be a fantastic day! I can just feel it! ^_^ Let's get things started, shall we? We started things off today by having a picnic to heal us all up! ^_^ Then, we stormed the nearby Team Star Base! ^_^ Our first challenger was a Pokémon Trainer named Youssef who started things off by sending out his Gulpin so Scykoh let Goose :) play with this poisonous pest. :D Youssef then sent out his Shroodle so Scykoh let Goose :) continue playing for now. ^_^ Then we defeated 30 of their random Pokémon just like at the previous bases. ^_^ #TooEasy As a result, we were challenged by the Leader of this particular base, Atticus. He started things off by sending out his Skuntank so Scykoh let Goose :) play with this stinky scamp. ^_^ Atticus then sent out his Muk so Scykoh let Necali and Fiona play with this boisterous blob! ^_^ Atticus then sent out his Revavroom so Scykoh let Goose :) play with this engine enigma. ^_^ Atticus then let his Navi Starmobile play with us so Scykoh responded by letting Goose :) Terastallize to deal with this mechanical menace! ^_^ *This portion of Picard's Log is transcribed by Flam* However, Necali proved to be too weak against this car so Scykoh let Picard try but even he wasn't strong enough (don't tell him I said that). Scykoh then sent out Craftee to finish things off. ^_^ As a result of our victory, Atticus gave us his Star Badge! ^_^ #TwoDownThreeToGo He also gave us the TM for Gunk Shot. :D What will happen tomorrow?

To answer your confusion about Revavroom (specifically the starmobile form) when the team star boss uses them. Think of it like a unique form exclusive to them. So each team star boss has a different type starmobile relating to their type specialty (fire, poison, dark etc.). The map gives you clues about what type each boss specializes in. Hope this helps!

Atticus is actually a drama person; his manner of speaking is meant to sound Shakespearean, and the outfits are a reference to drama costumes.
