I was playing minecraft while barely paying attention to my raid den. I lost a lugia, and when i went to get a sceptile i thought it looked shiny, but i scrolled through it. i checked it again and it was shiny, my first ever shiny, not even hunting, and i was not even paying attention

I didn’t try a speed run or anything but in bdsp I beat the game with a full shiny team in 74 hours and 24 minutes so yeah

Shiny Cyndaquil in crystal was actually my first 1/8192 shiny that wasnt a multi hunt (hgss 3 starter selection). I haven't actually finished the game but he's there for when i do want to

I'd never do a shiny only speed run, fastest I ever put together an all shiny team was in X, started hunting like a week into October & got my full shiny team together & ready for the Elite 4 before October ended, it was like a few days before Halloween. I also wasn't planning it to be a shiny run, I only started that copy of the game because I went to Hawaii to visit with my friend who lives there & brought a sealed copy of X with me, I started the play through on their 3DS so I'd have access to the sunset wings Vivillon fairly like I could of changed my location on my 3DS but why do that when you can go to Hawaii? Anyways, I had 2 gym badges when I decided to turn it into a shiny run so you can say I cheated but eh, I don't care. My team was Golduck, Nidoking, Pyroar, Honchkrow, Trevenant, & Dragonite. Funnily enough, Dragonite was the hardest one to get & I used the easiest method in the game for it, chain fishing. Due to shinies breaking your chain, I phased 11 times before getting a shiny Dratini. Yeah, definitely not even close to speed run times, especially given my synchronize didn't work & I did not get a jolly Dratini, I think it was like timid or modest, it had an attack lowering nature so I decided to build it as a special attacker & went through the trouble of teaching it draco meteor.
