Imprison trick room flutter does exist. Feel like it's underrated

I might consider trying out Flutter just so I have an option outside of Trick Room, but idk about an Imprison set. My team also values having Trick Room up, so Imprisoning them would feel counterproductive.

Neat, thank you for sharing your games :) You have a reasonably offensive Farigiraf, so Twin Beam feels like a decent pick for it. If you'd want to consider a more defensive one, I've been running full physical defense, Psychic Noise (Shuts down Draining Kiss, Heal Pulse, Pollen Puff, Drain Punch, etc.) and Foul Play (very strong against both calys, especially if caly ice gets some attack boosts). At least for me it worked quite well so far. Shadow Ball to me feels like it's much more specific and less useful on average than Foul Play (I do not have stats to back up my claim, I just feel that way with the current meta) Other than that, I noticed you getting a bit frustrated when things don't work out too well - which is normal, especially when running into random low ladder stuff. The way I've personally managed to combat that a bit is by picking one mon (Alolan Exeggutor for me - but that was in the previous regulation) that I felt was not really a common but a decent niche pick, and try to make it work anyways. If I lose - well, I'm using a silly team, that's expected. And if I run into opposing silly teams, I just enjoy the weirdness of it, while simultaneously learning about mons I haven't encountered much Basically - the goal is to win in the end, and climb the ladder. But I couldn't do that without learning about all sorts of things - so taking a more relaxed approach while still trying to perform well and experimenting helped with my ladder anxiety for a bit. (Yes, I'm basically advocating to indulge in a bit of low ladder jank yourself, but only a mon or two)

Yeah, I do end up switching off Twin Beam and Rain Dance in the end for Psychic Noise and Foul Play on Farigiraf. Gonna give that a go for the next session with a different spread. Overall though, the frustrations will go away with time. Which is kind of the goal. So I'll get there, however long it takes.

Oh I know the feeling of getting bored with a team. I never laddered far before getting bored and swapping tiers haha.

It's actually the opposite for me lol. The mindset of needing to have a fresh new team started to feel like homework, which slowed down vids as a result. I want to be able to stick with the same team, and flesh it out so I can properly improve.

@@KingQuags last time I did anything remotely like that was back in early gen 5 where I laddered to top 100 and said that’s good enough lol
