I wish you could see wild overworld shiny Pokemon in the original game. It would make shiny hunting a whole lot easier in SWSH. Especially considering SWSH doesn’t have any other shiny hunting methods outside of encountering and dynamax adventures.

Apparently shininess in Sword and Shield is determined upon the Pokémon appearing in the overworld along with its stats and such. 1) This is such a shame because they look SO GREAT in the overworld in this game and 2) We've probably all run past a bajillion shinies but never known whilst playing these games 😅

Half the fun of this video comes from the risk of failing shinies, and we wouldn't get that with Master Balls (though having to work with something silly like Thick Fat Azumarill or Feebas with less options/chances to change would be hilarious).
