This is how I defeated Ultra necrozma 1. Have Zoroark in the first slot of your party 2. Have anything weak to psychic in 6th slot 3. Zoroark will disguise as the pokemon in the 6th slot 4. Necrozma will be tricked by the disguise of the Zoroark 5. Since Necrozma is tricked, it will keep on using photon geyser on the disguised Zoroark thinking that it’s gonna be super effective 6. Photon geyser will not affect Zoroark due to the fact that psychic does not affect dark, necrozma will continue to use photon geyser not knowing that it’s not working since it’s actually using it on a Zoroark

Before Ultra Sun and Moon came out, People were predicting that Necrozma was something like a severed head and it’s missing the rest of its body. I'm laughing. So, my Zoroark is disguised as a Decidueye, and Ultra Necrozma kept spamming Photon Geyser because it's a super effective move against Decidueye. It was useless, since Zoroark is a dark-type. It kept spamming Photon Geyser in confusion and I hit it three times using Punishment. Best Nuzlocke run ever lmao.

@a wild Hau kinnie appeared _Topsy turvy is a move by Malamar that reverses stat boosts. For example if you have a 6+ boost in defense, if Malamar uses topsy turvy then it becomes a 6- negative in defense. Using it against Ultra Necrozma is a very big brain move.

Alex Robb Arceus base stats are 720, both primals have 770, Mega Mewtwo (both) and Rayquaza have 780 (beeing the strongest), and Ultra Necrozma has 755 i think.

Matt el que mainea Top Every single legendary you mentioned, with the exception of rayquaza, must forfeit their item in order to achieve those stats (in fact, that's one of the main reasons mega ray is so broken; he can hold an item while having those ludicrous stats). Just so you understand how big that is, special life orb Mewtwo hits harder than mega mewtwo Y. Choice specs kyogre hits harder than primal kyogre. And so on. Also, base stats aren't everything. I can't think of a single person (who knew what they were talking about) who would seriously argue that mega mewtwo is better than arceus, when arceus has access to a godlike movepool with well rounded stats and the ability to be every type. Mega Mewtwo (doesn't matter which) is merely a fast psychic type that doesn't have the power or the moves to sweep effectively. Same can be said for ultra necrozma, who trades worse offensive stats and movepool from Mega mewtwo for actual setup moves.

I got a story about this fight. My team was rather simple. Decidueye, Salazzle, Metagross, Gyrados, Ribombee and Noivern. I had gone through the entire game, praising each team member and loving each one. But... I was no where near prepared for this fight. All I could do was hope. It was down to just me, Noivern and Necrozma, both are red health. The fight was rough but I was out of revives and healing items... Necrozma attacks... AND MY NOIVERN TAKES IT LIKE A FUCKING BOSS, and, as if saying "Really now? Fine, my turn." Noivern knocked out the divinely powerful pokemon, winning the battle on the first try. Lesson learned: Believe in your pokemon, and they will conquer gods.

4:42 I cried while the whole essence of Necrozma tries to stick to a last bid of hope in order to “survive” and lands in Lunala’s/Solgaleo‘ nose. It seems like Lunala forgives Necrozma after all, and wishes him to do well despite the harm caused... Y’all gotta keep in mind Ultra necrozma may be the ONLY Pokémon on or near the same level as arceus in the lore. Here’s why. Arceus created the Pokémon with the help of the unown and mew on top of his dimension. But the ultra beasts aren’t Pokémon. Or rather they aren’t from the world of Pokémon. Maybe it’s an alternate universe where ultra necrozma is the arceus of the multiverse I dunno. But if those two were to Duke it out we’d all be screwed lol

Just have a focus sash that was given to you on Poni Island, give it a Pokemon that knows toxic, (or use mimyku since it takes a free hit) then toxic stall with revives. It's a very cheap, easy way to deal with it.

Necrozma was weakened a bit by my Lycanroc's Crunch, and when it was my Incineroar's turn, she killed Necrozma with Malicious Moonsault. Most badass thing to ever happen to me in a Pokemon game.

Sweet merciful Arceus! This Pokemon! This fudging Pokemon! You thought forcing to deal with previous Legendary Pokemon just to continue the main story was bad enough, you haven't seen this frustration incarnate! True you can't capture it if wasn't for the fact that Solgaleo/Lunala was fused with Necrozma but trust me, trying to defeat this monster is a complete nightmare. It's without the doubt the hardest Pokemon battle in a main story campaign I've ever fudging faced. Even with EXP Share just to make the game more easier and even with Roto EXP Boost just to get more experience points, Ultra Necrozma somehow managed to get 10 levels higher than the last battle of it's Dusk Mane/Dusk Wing form meaning that you're likely to be at around the same level as his Ultra form. Even with "X Sp. Def", it's still way too powerful it will faint your Pokemon in maybe 2 hits even with high Special Defense. You better hope to god that the RNG effects of Pokemon Refresh will save your Pokemon by managing to survive with one HP(Which requires that you need to get all of your Pokemon team to have maximum Affection just to maybe stand a chance) which thankfully in one of my attempts saved my Incineroar at a last moment. And even with a certain Z-Move that's super effective against that monster, it only shave off around half of it's health(Assuming if it's not critical hit) just to show how extremely durable it really is. This is one of the worst difficulty spikes I've ever faced in any video game I've played and that is an achievement from a Pokemon game(Which most of the time it's easy). Now if only I have to prepare for Team Rainbow Rocket Leader Giovanni who has a fudging Mega Mewtwo that's "Lv. 70". Maybe I do need to train more during the post-game quest before taking on the Team Rainbow Rocket quest like beating all available trainers, clearing all areas, & doing the Pokemon League challenges once per night. Might have to do that before the end of the month just to have Lusamine as a Title Defense challenger during the first day of the month(Which like Faba of the original Sun/Moon is just bullcrap).

Update from my last comment. Team Rainbow Rocket event was a bitch to beat, but nothing compared to Ultra Necrozma. Assuming that you used the guide which acts as a map to navigate easier, using Exp Share & plenty of Roto Exp Points to get stronger in short amount of time before & during the events, knowing the ins & outs of each puzzles, grunts, bosses of the events, & using the X Def, X Sp Def, Roto Boost, & super effective Z-Moves at the right time for certain bosses' Legendary Pokemon & especially Lysandre's Mega Gyarados, you can survive through this especially by the time you get to Giovanni, your team be around 8-9 levels higher than his Mega Mewtwo. Still, the process of getting to Ultra Ruin is much more harder than this event or especially Ultra Necrozma if it wasn't for the it's goddamn RNG factor of Ultra Warp Ride. Seriously, those 3 makes Ultra Sun & Moon even more difficult than even the Black & White series.

I had to cheese this fight so hard. I lost like 6 times and the last time around, I stalled until Photon Geyser ran out then finished it with a 4x Roto Boosted Galvanize Explosion. I've never had such a hard fight. The thing has insane base stats to begin with and then they DOUBLE it.
