Howdy! I'm doing a 365 Days of Music challenge, and I picked this for Day 297. I wrote a little something for it, so I thought I'd share. **Day 297:** "Route 4: (cover) | Double reed Quartet arr." Pokemon X was my first Pokémon game. I kind of miss Pokémon. I hope Gen 9 will be a good experience. I love the route and town themes of the Kalos region. I think these areas are where the soundtrack really shines. Take this track, for example. It's so noble and dignified, but also so adventurous and lighthearted. It's, as the description of this video says, adorable. And I hadn't really thought of it as adorable before, but it really is! So many of the route and town themes are. Also major props to the woodwind playing here. The arrangement is very faithful to the original, and the execution is handled so well. The sound balance is great. There's a lot at play here that makes this a high-quality cover. I just wish it looped once or twice or thrice. It's so nice that I hate to see it end so quickly!
