~~ HC Nuzlocke Rules ~~
1. Only the first Pokemon in any area may be obtained.
2. The exceptions to this are dupes and species clauses, where a Pokemon that is already obtained, or another evolution of said Pokemon is encountered before any other.
3. No items can be used in battles aside from Poke Balls to catch Pokemon or Poke Dolls to run from Pokemon.
4. A strict level cap is in place at all times to prevent overlevelling.
5. Set mode is required to be on as soon as you have access to, or own a Pokemon.

Pokemon Pure Red/Blue/Green, although I haven't yet completed it and I have to play Yellow Legacy as well.

This is not a Kaizo game - So don't play it like a Kaizo game... Have the hard core nuzlocke rules in - But play like u play a normal game.... Let me explain : 1) Don't have a party of 6 by the first gym.... Just have 2 or 3 max... And gradually build up the team acc to the no of badges u have.... 2) Catch new Pokemon only to replace a dead Pokemon... Else keep the core team...For eg : If a water type in team dies - Go and Catch a New water type one... (Still catch only the first encounter in a route) 3) Stat experience exists - So no need to actually have Pokemon match the level cap - especially in the end game... Ur Pokemon can be slightly underlevelled and still do well in the end game... This way it will be more fun I believe...

You make good points to be honest, however I just went in with the mindset to play it as a regular hardcore nuzlocke, no more, no less, and I still did enjoy it a lot. I might take a couple of your ideas into consideration for another game at some point though
