Bobby Kotick would be proud of that ending. Great narration as always Kashif. It was entertaining seeing a different style of battle. It's difficult to find people who want to have a triples/rotation battle.

as a triples player myself, you learned the hard way in this match that your team is very weak to wide guard (a pretty common move to carry in triples). having used a similar explosion-based strategy, the best way to prevent this is by using a pokemon with the move feint, which damages through protect moves and also nullifies their effects. sableye is my personal favorite feinter for this type of team because it's also immune to explosion. just a tip :]

This was the most strategy i've ever seen implemented in triples

Wow, that was a pretty intense match. Maybe we need to see more triple and rotation battles in the competitive scene?

that game was really close, that wideguard play was real good!

that works too, although imo it's better to run it on a different pokemon so that you can explode on the same turn (snorlax of course can't steal the wide guard and blow up to abuse the snatch on the same turn). but yeah I know the feeling of wanting to go out with a bang haha :]

There was no reason to explode and water spout all on the same turn ? I don't think you needed all the damage so it was just needlessly risky play really.
