So if someone bets 1000 other player calls and the final player goes all in with 275. It's need to take 275 to each player for main pot but why the player that is going all in still have chips?
@CWEBSWORLD6 жыл бұрын
Hi Alexis! Can you tell me at which part in the video you're referring to so I can clear up any confusion? The player that went all in will not have any chips in front of them unless they win after revealing the cards.
@Nicotine466 жыл бұрын
I find that part confusing as well. But it's actually simple. There is no chips left for player C. But as she said it doesn't matter how you grab the 825. The result is indeed corect. But I think the way she creates the two pots is confusing. She should've put all the chips from player C in the main pot.
@Joe-ly3si5 жыл бұрын
@Joeys48 It makes no difference who's pot it comes from...825 is 825 either way. There is 2275 on the table and player c is entitled to 3x275...However way you take the 825 out...you're left with 1450 for the side pot.

Heyoo! Thanks for the vid but theres one thing i dont understand what happens if a player goes all in pre flop ? How does the round play out
@CWEBSWORLD2 жыл бұрын
Hey RiverJ! Good question! If a player goes all in preflop the other players just have to call the all-in amount or fold before you can move on to the flop. Just make sure their all-in amount covers (includes) the big blind and the minimum amount required to raise. That's where it gets tricky for some. Lemme know if that helps😊
@DJcyberslash2 жыл бұрын
So my understanding is if you go all in without the money to make the call all you get at max is your call times the number of people who call after in response to your bet?
@CWEBSWORLD2 жыл бұрын
Yes sirrrrrr😊! So whatever that all-in player has is multiplied by the number of players and that amount goes into the main pot. The remainder creates the side pot which the all-in player won't be eligible to receive. The all-in player is eligible for the main pot cuz they had been contributing to it up until they had to go all in.

What if a player go's all in and has more currency then both of the other players
@IXLDGOLD3 жыл бұрын
Well why would the player go all in and risk his extra chips that cant even be paid off if he did win since no one else can call his bet. ps. in older shitty scam basement games sometimes if the player goes all in and nobody can call, they are forced to fold. So rich get richer. Pretty stupid which is why i dont reccomend starting to play poker with real money before you get a good grip of the game. pspsps yes i know its a 1 year old comment lol, bet now than never i guess.

@CWEBSWORLD7 жыл бұрын
Howdy JM! Thanks for the question! When player C went all-in he didn't have any money left over, the chips were there because of the way I grabbed the $825. You can get it any way you want just so long as each person puts in $275. The remaining chips that you see in front of player C went into the side pot that player C was not eligible to win. Does that make sense?
@danjensenmovietalk2 жыл бұрын
@@CWEBSWORLD No. If player C went all in with $275 and you put those chips into the main pot, they shouldn't have had anything left to go to the side pot. In the video, you place surplus chips from player C into the side pot and don't explain why.
@CWEBSWORLD2 жыл бұрын
@@danjensenmovietalk Howdy Dan! Player C didn't have any money left over but the way I grabbed the $825 ($275 from each player) seems to be where the confusion is. You're not the first to point this out :) . In short, there's $2,275 that's been put out but only $825 goes to the main pot and the remainder goes to the side pot which player C would not be eligible to win.
@AlexG-wk3nh8 жыл бұрын
why does A get eliminated from the main pot after losing the side pot show down?
@CWEBSWORLD8 жыл бұрын
+Alex Grant Because player A had already lost to player B. So even if player A had stayed in the game and, let's say, beat player C, they would still lose to player B. We already know player A's hand is not a winner but we don't know about player C's hand until player A is eliminated.

What if player A goes all in with for 1000. Player B goes all in with 1248 and player C goes all in with 1500. How would one calculate the side pot then? im guessing the main pot would be 3000 and the side pot 748 with player B and C am i right? Hypothetically speaking if player C only had 1 dollar and went all in with that one dollar but had the best hand would he win the 2000 dollars in the main pot? (note: it might confuse people when you said the remaining chips go to the side pot but took money from player C. All of player C's money went into the main pot. Just pointing it out)
@CWEBSWORLD10 жыл бұрын
Yes, starting with the player with the least amount of money, the main pot would be $3000 because you have to take $1,000 from 3 players. After that, the next smallest amount would be $248 for player B. Since you have two players left with money (B and C) it would be $248 x 2 = 496. So $496 would go to the side pot. If they have all gone in you can stop there because neither A or B are eligible to win player C's remaining $252. But if you had a player D then that $252 would go into a side-side pot and side pots would just continue if you had more players with money...at which point it's a nightmare for the dealer and that's when you flip the table over! LOL! I see what you mean about the confusion. All of player C's money did go into the main pot "virtually". I just used their chips to make the side pot. But good point! Even if player C in this situation had gone all in with just $1 they would still only be able to win the main pot (^^)
@pingerfrints67162 жыл бұрын
You are still wrong!$1000-275=$725 so the side pot will be $1,450 because both player A&B still gives $275 to the main pot. So if player A wins against player B and C then he can have the side pot and the main pot and if player C wins all he cannot get the side pot because his chips cannot reach $1000 in order to have a side pot so if player C wins he win only the main pot.Why are you saying $825?You have wrong calculation.

Let's say 4 people are playing. Player 1 raises $100 bet. Player 2 goes all in with $50, player 3 goes all in with 75$, and player 4 matches the $100. How would that work out?
@CWEBSWORLD2 жыл бұрын
Hey Aaron! Sorry for the delay. Great question!! So basically you’re gonna have a bunch of side pots that not every player will be eligible for. For the 1st side pot, everyone will contribute the amount of the player that has the least. So everyone will put in $50. That pot will total $200 and everyone is eligible for it. Now, the person with the least is player 3 with $25 ($50-$75) so for pot #2 players 1, 3, and 4 will put in $25 each for a total of $75. Only players 1,3 and 4 are eligible to win that pot. Now, players 1 and 4 both have $50 remaining and that goes in side pot #3 and only 1 and 4 are eligible to win that pot. Now it’s show em’ time (show your cards) 😊! Sorry this is long. If it’s still confusing I’ll do another video for multiple pots as I know the pay out can get tricky once players show their cards. Thanks for this question!!

I understand you can take the chips in any order as long as the mainpot has 825 and the sidepot has the remaining 1450 but I think it would have been easier to understand visually if you took all the chips from player C and put them in the mainpot from the beginning, either way thanks for the help.

What happens if a player puts into the main pot, but later folds after being raised in the side pot? Is he still eligible to win the main pot since he contributed to it?
@kingjackoff67084 жыл бұрын
Spexxy19 Nope. He was forced to fold and doesn’t have the luxury of showdown for the main pot. Now the aggressor doesn’t have to beat two peoples’ hands, only the one remaining in the main pot. He successfully ‘isolated’ the other opponent from the main pot showdown.

@johansmolinski6 жыл бұрын
No, once you fold your cards you don't get any of the main or side pots. In your example player B will get the side pot for sure, still fighting player A for the main pot.

(0:32)if player C went all-in for $275 then why he have a side pot in (0:56)?Your video is a little bit confusing?🤔Player C should have no side pot because it had all-in for $275 so the chips should not go to side pot in (0:56) but it should go all to the main pot not side pot.
@CWEBSWORLD2 жыл бұрын
Hey Pinger Frints ☺! Yes, a few people have pointed out this confusion...which lies in the way I grabbed the $825. If you check out the equation at (0:43) you'll see that $825 has to go to the main pot and the remainder goes to the side pot which player C would not be eligible to win no matter what their hand is(1:56). For the next video (coming soon) I will be careful with the way I grab the amount that goes to the main pot so as not to confuse anyone 😆. Hope this explanation helps! Thanks for watching 😊
