Perhaps the villain knows that AK, QQ and JJ are 3-betting hands for you, so when it goes rais/call Pre you should be on something like TT, AQ, KQ, ATs, QJ, TJ if you continues, and problably only having two types of Ad in your hand. When he bets on turn and you only call he knows that you dont have the ATs since with the big pot now you would like to defend against the board to pair, so now you only have one single hand left that you should have (AdQx) that makes your life easy. All of the other combination he thinks he could get you off on the river. So on the river the villain is prob all in on pretty much any card that dosen´t pair up the broadway. I think he´s bluff on the river works better with hands like 33,44 without diamond because it lets in som folds on the river from hands like 67s, 78s, which with 77 is harder to be up against now since he blocks does, but this works better in position cus you can throw in a check sometimes on turn. I like the bluff from the villain but I feel that he is doing it in wrong position and against the wrong guy and also with the slightly wrong hand. Like the hero says him self he´s a bit of a callingstation, the villain shouldn´t be taking this line against someone like that - but I guess he was up running around to much to notice this.

IMO paragraph 1 nails it. Villain is only player who can reasonably have AK. Hero cant have AK unless he is very fishy as he would almost always 3B PF, IP vs raiser and 2 callers. Even when someone has a set (unlikely) Villain can likely force the terrible mistake of putting money in post then folding the best hand later so long as the board does not pair. Think Bart should give far more credit to villain and his play incl the river shuv on D,D run out. I only play $1/2 and think like this.

Vilain’s is basically repping AKdd. Any other hand wouldn’t make any sense, so I’m literally never folding the river, especially for this price. Really surprised folding was the verdict, I think it s quite terrible.

He reps AKd so you want to call?lol

He loves paying off the nuts, and occasionally catching a bluffer. Because that's what's important.

Dont think it was relevant to hand typo in the graphic. He flopped set with diamond he either had 10h or 10s with the 10d but i noticed this as well.

I woulda thought a competent young TAG villain at $2/5 would, by the river, deduce that hero just cant have Ad cos he knows hero almost always or prolly always raises turn AI with any hand containing Ad whether it's a made flush (for protection) or one diamond nut draw with pair (AdQx, AdJx, AdTx etc) cos most $2/5 regs would not want to be left with those hands on blank riv facing a bet giving close to 3/1 on a call esp when there are bluffs in villains range. I feel it could also be contended that Kd,xx hands can be discounted for various reasons, no? Seems his flop CR is very aggro but not terrible. Maybe correct vs competent but typical ABC Vegas $2/5 reg cos if they play like $1/2 regs most hate to get AI without close to the nuts or nut draw with fold equity and/or pot odds, right? Villain prolly (rightly IMO) felt he could be certain to get villain off almost his whole range by riv by repping AK unless the board pairs and hero might even lay down a somewhat unlikely set by the riv on blank turn and riv. In addition heros range includes many non diamond hands he just can't or won't man up with on that riv (9x9x, KxQx, etc)? Villain should be good enough to know that, right? After committing to AI on flop, conditional to board pairing, I don't understand how or why he can/should reevaluate on riv? As a first time $1/2 Vegas player this year am I giving these $2/5 guys too much credit for basic thought processes or have I missed something? PS: This vid has cheered me up no end as it has given me the idea that crushing $2/5 in Vegas next year is gunna be way way less of a challenge than I thought unless of course I missed sthg? Keep the good content coming, thanks for the insight and look forward to mixing it up with you at $2/5 in Vegas soon.

Will do. Saw you playing $2/5 at Caesars few months ago but didnt feel ready to even think about jumping in for what woulda likely been a costly live lesson. Game selection was a huge factor in me crushing this year tho sometimes I sought out the very best(at that limit), sat on their left and paid to learn. I figured out fast that very best low limit crushers are all super exploitative players who would usually open too much in LP in tight games, C Bet 100% then presume I would play ABC PF and fit n fold post (cos I am 50+, clean cut and wen card dead cultivate a very tight image). Got them to fold way way too much to any aggression( in fact they most always regressed to FNFold themselves vs me when facing any resistance in big pots) limiting my costs for the lessons. C Bet flop, fold to raise; C B flop, CF turn; CB turn, FTR was crazy imbalanced even or maybe moreso for the crushers. Happy days. Moved tables and casinos regularly once they caught on (the quizzical, "has he got it in him to have bluffed me there" look often alerting me) and of course almost always did it IP. Hardest part was not laughing when 3Betting with tight image with a SC, C Betting with usually nothing more than leverage and position and them folding hands as strong as overpairs like TT, JJ, many top pairs etc post and some saying "aces, kings, big pair right?, I made a big fold there". As I said hopefully I am overthinking the $2/5 game and giving credit where it is not due and that is where my logic is flawed, which I identified as my major leak this year. Would obv trust your analysis over mine any day. Looking fwd to returning to the USA to resume the challenge in April. Would be interested in if you think I may possibly have what it takes to beat mid or even high stakes with a few more years experience and lots of study? Will be joining training sites including yours and using PIO solver in the new year. Great vids. GL.

If Villain is a crusher, once Hero only flatted on turn, Villain knows that as long as Hero is semi competent he cant have Adxx. Think about why and name one hand that sensibly does not shuv the turn that contains Ad?? Even Kdxx can be discounted for a few valid reasons which means Villain bluffed when Hero was at the absolute top of his range and he still nearly got him to fold. Once he got to the riv and a diamond hit, getting nearly 3/1 on a bluff he absolutely had to do it if he can play.

"Villian knows that you know that he knows that you cant have XX cos of the way both of you did or didnt play the flop or what you did or didnt do preflop,so when he does X he knows you now think Y and so excellent play by both players" ---- General mumbo jumbo in the comment section

@@CrushlivePoker yes that's correct I was just answering the question that part said when he said what plus could you have here and the only bless you would have here or ones I believe that don't contain a diamond I think you just check and take your showdown by you with any diamond usually, you may fold the king
