Yes, like the 7c6c hand with the 4 to the stright, and a flush draw out there. He bets out to stop weaker hands checking back, and will fold to a raise. Its great to see this in action. You can read 100 times over its what you should do, but to see it real time with Brad's commentary shows you should always be taking the innitiative - and inturn have players respond to you. That alone has changed my game.

Brad only has a set of 7’s on the first board. In PLO you have to use two of the 4 cards in your hand to make your best possible poker hand on a board. But you can only use 2 cards. So for instance being delt 4 aces preflop, is only a pair of aces. You can only use 2 and must use 2 to make your best hand.

You have to use only 2 of your cards in PLO Must play 2, can only play 2. A wierd scenario beginners struggle with is a KKQQ9 board. If you have AKJ10, you have a straight, not a full house because the J10 plays as your 2 cards. Otherwise you would have trip Kings with A kicker
@niemand2623 жыл бұрын
NLTH is about realizing your equity, because hands can have wildly different equities (e.g., 80% vs 20%). PLO is about denying your opponents equity, because hand equities are always more equal (e.g., 55% vs 45%). Think about what "limit" does. It prevents you from blasting people off pots. That is, it impedes your ability to do the winningest possible thing, forcing people to fold their equity. NLO would be unplayable because virtually every hand would have at least 1 person going all in preflop.
