I’ve been buying loose packs for the past two months on eBay and I have hit two Umbreon Vmax alt arts after opening about 130 packs. It’s so crazy I almost convinced myself one of them was fake I was so shocked lmao. They’re both mint and beautifully centered too!! Loose packs are the way to go imo.

Crazy that a set from one series ago has exploded so much in price. Sadly, a Moonbreon is the only way to save an opening like this. When one card is the only thing to make a pack worth it, it is hard to justify opening the packs I have stored away.

If just only cards would make the rip worth and the rest of them are just covering around 40% ( at the best ) the sealed box are highly overprices and will tend to drop very soon. Just patience.

Want to hear a crazy story? My kids and I buy single packs from time to time. We bought a V striker tin at Sam's Club a few years back with Chilling Reign. It was one of maybe 4 or 5 tins left. It had the Alt Art VMAX Blaziken, got it graded at a 10. About a year later, they had elite trainer boxes of fusion strike, bought one of those. It had the Full Art VMAX Gengar, got it graded a 10 as well. 2 for 2 at Sam's Club! Insane.

Pulling the moonbreon makes you $100, and the next best thing (rayquaza) is only worth half of the box. The odds of pulling the moonbreon are so small that you’re risking thousands of dollars for pocket change

I've been relentlessly out on the hunt each week for every ES I can get my hands on at retail. I've even started a new channel showcasing every hidden product out now that contain Evolving Skies in 2024. I have over a hundred Ko boxes, dozens of Tyranitar/Emp V tins, Evo Tins, Arceus lunch boxes, Hidden Potential Tins, and c22 mini tins.. Anyway, ripping ES at retail prices beats paying triple to rip and risk not hitting an AR. I've opened around 60 pks recently, and the best hit I got was Golurk Full Art, until my last pk got me Sylveon V Alt Art, which felt great! "Long Video uploading soon." No matter how many I can find until they dry up, I'm keeping half sealed. Anyway, grats on hitting something half decent from the pks!

Keep it sealed yes, quality of cards will kill it, even if you find something worthy Evolving Pains. Why lose packs is better. Because if you get same defective printing box, they will all be defective in the box. Lose packs might be different batches. Why no one filed collective complaint to that printing company for quality yet. I am curious.

I don't think it's a good idea to open an Evolving Skies booster box but I do enjoy opening Evolving Skies. If I had the money I'd love a booster box but not to open. Whenever I see some type of box with Evolving Skies and I have money, I get it because of the Evolving Skies packs. I'd love to pull an alt art one day of this set but I have bad luck.
