i love that they made these starter ill. rares pidgey themed. as a kid pidgey was the most basic and commonly found pokemon in the wild but evolving it and flying with it still holds a special place in my childhood memories playing the games.

The pidgey’s in the full arts tho. I love when they sneak in little basic starter Pokemon into the full arts. The 151 snorlax promo also has a pigey on its stomach very similar cards!
