Original Venusaur was in my first pack ever, seeing my son pull his out of a celebration pack was awesome. With him knowing how much I love the card he wanted to give it to me, I graciously declined. He's a good kid. Celebrations set is wonderful in my opinion.

The Celebrations got me back into collecting Pokémon and saving them for my son as he gets older. It’s so difficult to get booster boxes and not to open them! Lol I hope he’ll appreciate it when he’s older! My favorite is seeing all the old school designs of The 3 original starters and the gold metal Pickachu!

That is fun, its like what me and my 21 year old daughter are doing. We have been collecting for the past 2 years or so for my future grandkids. My daughter loved playing Pokémon when she was 9-12 so its a fond memory for her and she wants to pass it down eventually. We try to buy 1 etb to open and 1 to save to open in the future, though we weren't able to get any Hidden Fates. Our girls day out is usually checking out the local stores for cards. She is also a Teacher so she takes some of our MANY duplicates and makes them part of her prize box.

The Celebrations Set has got me back into Pokémon which is awesome, it’s just a little disappointing how hard it is to get any sets in my area, especially with my local card shop’s ludicrous prices. The metal Charizard looks amazing though!

I’m so happy to have gotten back into this hobby again, it may be a bit more difficult now due to all the people scalping and taking them by the dozen. But when you find what you’re looking for yourself without paying a premium price it’s just an amazing feeling! That metal charizard has to be the coolest thing I’ve seen in the set!

I bought the collectors chest from celebrations yesterday, and it says 6 celebrations booster packs on the outside, i opened it up and i got 9 booster packs haha, like a jackpot, got a venesaur, birthday pikachu, luxray lv x and a dark gyarados. Really happy with it. Only need the flying pikachu vmax, full art professor research and the gold mew, to complete the main set!

My favorite item inside the box has to be the metal OG chonk-a-chu!! I still have my original base set pikachu from my childhood and it just holds such a special place! And yes, pikachu is my favorite pokemon of all time. When I was younger, instead of a security blanket, I had a security pikachu that went everywhere with me. Don't know if you ever saw this toy back in the day, but he was a little talking pikachu whose hands click and when you click them, his cheeks light up and his ears move and he makes cute little pika noises (well, he doesn't do all that anymore 😂) but yeah, the OG of OGs- pikachu💛

This was honestly the highlight of my day! My favourite Pokémon has to be Salamence because I love how it's previous evolutions wish to fly, and then Salamence gets to fly! I really love the C Rayquaza Lv. X, because that was the only card in this collection I had the original of back in elementary school. The metal cards would totally be the top tier want, the gold cards being second, and then the load of packs would be third on my list. That is one hell of a box to open for sure, but hell I'd take the box itself as a pretty sweet get, even without stuff in it.

Not gonna lie, I've loooved celebrations so far! It's been so nostalgic and fun to look at cards from older sets coming back. While I think the metal cards are a neat collectors item, I am personally trying to get a lot of the classic cards I am missing. The 25th Anniversary Celebrations set has actually got me back into Pokemon. Opening the cards again I felt like a big kid all excited at Christmas. I just love the whole design for this set, the box and the way it's all displayed is top quality 👌🏻

honestly, luxray. I dunno, he's just a dope pokemon and how it could work in the real world just makes him more special to me. I also make sure to use him in my gen 4 playthroughs(which is where i started) so luxray will always be my fav. And i would say that the metal cards are my fav due to the uniqueness
