as someone who also completed mono-dragon recently, this truly might be the hardest monotype, it's definitely one of the hardest, due to the INSANE difficulty of just catching anything you can use, there are so few dragon types even available outside of Wasteland biome and, even with map, it's not guaranteed that you can get there, not to mention that getting there at the right time is basically impossible, i got super lucky on my run, got the map in the first 20 floors and got to wasteland, and half my encounters were replaced with evil team fights. wonderful job, callum, one more type taken off the list

It is kinda hard. I never got to go to the wasteland so I just Noivern from the Cave biome, Dragalge from the Seabed biome iirc. I had Altaria, Archaludon, and Hydrapple since they were my starters

If he was able to get the map sooner, he could have gotten to the Wastelands biome and pretty much taken his pick from there. Alas, it wasn't to be. I personally completed the Dragon monotype challenge in conjunction with the Gen 6 challenge, which only has four end-stage dragons available at all (regular Goodra, Noivern, Tyrantrum, and Dragalge). Ended up catching a second Noivern to fill out the team somewhat.

At 18:02, Cal says "Let's go Goodra" and the bottom left of the screens shows the would be title of the pokemon game if it did exist. If the game did exist, it would change the commonly used acronym for the lets go pikachu and eevee games, 'LGPE', into LGPEG, finally showing us the true reason the lets go games were created.

Archaludon if you have Body Press is insane, with it's only weakness really being special attacks, which can be mitigated by X Sp DEF, Zinc ect. Stamina, Body Press, Flash Cannon, and either Electro Shot or Breaking Swipe is a good moveset (Electro Shot only if you are able to go to a bunch of areas with rain in a row/have a rain setter)

@@Mimiyan_or_Pikapikafan but with electro shot, even if you miss or they swap to a ground type, you still get the special attack boost for flash cannon

@@HER0_ yeah, but you can't switch out for a turn and if the opponent is faster then you, you're taking two hits, otherwise it's 1. It's way to risky for me, especially since Body Press at +6 is already insane. Definitely good if you can set the rain or route for it, but I'd rather have another move

I beat Dragons only last week with Garchomp, Alrtaria, Turtenator, and Dragapult. Never got offered either Mega stone for like 75 floors at least smh. Turt was the only Dragon i saw and i made it to Badlands twice without taking me to Wastelands (33% chance each time). Still beat it thanks to Dragapult lol

I used Dragonite for when I did mono-flying. Aerilate passive is insane with Crush Grip. Also agree on the shiny. Felt like I was the only one that liked green Dragonite for a while. The way it looks in SV especially is just very pleasing.

You can still catch a zigzagoon for pickup on challenge runs since you don’t have to battle with it

@@ayden8297 but the pickup function doesn't work unless it's the proper type still.. Plus you will get items for a mon you can't use in the shop.

I finished a full Poison run last night and had Fezandipiti and didn't need to use it against Eternatus. Also basically soloed it with Lugia in my Psychic run. Did they nerf Eternatus by chance?
