I love how different gym leaders and legendaries and evil teams and the like finally have their own themes now! it's so cool hearing themes from all the different official games all in one run! I've especially missed the Sword and Shield gym leader theme. Such a good song!

I don't usually nickname a Pokemon if it's my first time using it. I'm also particular with my nicknames and don't really like having "themes" since that feels too limiting, instead I prefer getting to know the Pokemon first before giving it a nickname. I mean, you don't do that with people, right? You don't meet someone and give them a nickname before you've gotten to know them, nicknames are supposed to be earned. That's the approach I take with my Pokemon as well. With that said. Ferrothorn carried this run and had an amazing nickname. 10/10 loved it.

Lowkey I really like the ore/gemstone naming convention, I usually name my favorite Pokemon (H. Zorua and Luxray) Opal and Lapis/Lazuli respectively

I know it probably doesn’t matter but I use a fantasy name generator for most of my naming conventions for Pokemon

This was awesome!! I had fun with my Grass only run, it took me 2 attempts to clear it. Also do you not use berries? In all the battles shown you don't seem to have any on your mons

tbh berries aren't a great pick up from the end of battle rewards. You'll usually only take them if the other rewards are really mediocre. But pickup passively giving you tons of them is very powerful.
