Gear isn't only for looks it gives your characters better stats. Str increases your characters damage on normal moves, abl increases the damage of special moves, def let's you take less damage from opponents attacks and hp increases your characters health. Strength and defense are the most important just use the gear that increases those. Guys like this comment so jev can see it!!

As a general recommendation for injustice players, learn the attack strings for the good lows, overheads, and and what's more than -5 on block. Anything above -5 is considered safe. And practice mode is your friend to learn combos.

Sometimes the damage you do doesn't translate into percent. They could have health increasing gear. Also if you feel you're doing less damage on the same combo, you're probably against someone with a high defence rating.

This will help a lot of people: meter burn and toward your opponent starts a clash to regen health for you. You will need to be on your last health bar to do so. U can do it after getting hit and not blocking. Make sure u have more meters than your opponent to win health
