real talk, I been grinding marvel rivals, idk how bad the early ranks are since I finished gm 3 season 0, but its honestly pretty chill all things considered once you hit like plat and diamond. Obviously you gotta deal with the numbnuts and no brain cells teammates sometimes, but honestly, most fun I've had playing a ranked mode in any game in a long long time

It does get so much better once you're able to ban characters, but still getting teams of 5 DPS is actually a serious problem even after plat. (I kinda count myself lucky I had quite a few friends that wanted to play)

The previous X3D chips from Ryzen did have productivity loss because they had to down clock the chips due to how they had to arrange the 3D part, but now, with Ryzen 9000 (and presumably above, when that comes, but that's not anytime soon), it's not a problem. The 7950x3D is a bit slower than the 9800x3D in gaming (still faster than a 14900k/ 285k), and is slightly slower in productivity than the regular 7950x, but only a few percent, I'd wait to get the 9950x3D, which will be out soon, it will be the fastest gaming CPU on the planet (I believe the core parking issues are solved) and lose nothing in terms of productivity performance to its non-x3D counterpart like previous generations.

Honestly for gaming, the 9800x3d is the best choice, for productivity, I'd just wait for the 9950x3d to come out. You could with a 14900k or a 285k but its kind of a lottery whether it's gonna be usable or not.

5090 and 9800x3d is the build to have, 3d v-cache and the card would be breathing. Production is a nonissue, your production doesnt even require that, you could easily do all the same workload with a 5800x3d lmao but saul goodman

The ryzen 9 7900x3d is an insane! Totally worth it for your next build. I would advise however that these chips run pretty hot so something like an AIO would be pretty essential.

Just a heads up that calling card is bugged currently. It’s believed to only unlock if you did the 33 base weapons to unlock every mastery, so if you skipped launchers or melees or whatever then it won’t unlock

Just by watching the videos you post, the shock eliminations seem to work if the player dies after getting shocked but don't work if they get downed and then killed so killing players that are solo or last member in the squad for the squad wipe counts much love jev the grind is almost over :)

Intel had problems with 14th gen, lotta recalls. AMD has been pretty solid in that area although failure rates are always higher with x3d chips. I would combine 9950x3D and 5090 if you want the utmost frames and productive area speed. Ofc it's the bleeding edge of tech. Sometimes you get cut.

If you want a nice AMD production CPU, they recently announced the Ryzen 9 9950X3D. It uses their second generation 3D V cache so you can expect all the great gaming performance from it, and it's a 16 core 32 thread CPU with a boost clock of up to 5.7 GHz. It should easily out perform all of the new Intel core ultra CPUs. It's set to release in March.
