I grew up during the golden era of COD. I cannot explain to you how awesome it was playing MW2, BO1, MW3, and BO2 all on release. I have been chasing that same feeling for so long, because it felt organic and fun. I played for ten, twelve hours a day at times and I miss it greatly. Grinding for prestige and camos, the late night lobbies, zombies easter eggs. We had it so good back then.
@Mardark-e4s10 ай бұрын
And then they added complexity to a game that didn't need any and ruined all of it. Eomm is the perfect example, matchmaking used to just be relative to your ping and that was it. That's why the lobbies stayed together, I remember having to quit out and join a different lobby because my team was bad. That feeling is now gone.
@OhImSaucy10 ай бұрын
@@Mardark-e4s there was some matchmaking but it would just try to put you with people around your level, thats why whenever you would prestige you would see low levels and lobbies would be easier, but there was never bs like tracking how you move or other things.

Jev is one of the few big KZbinrs I can happily watch. There are so many big KZbinrs that I hate. Their fake, over the top personality, their awareness of their viewers low attentionspan and their catering to that shit. Jev just feels so genuine and organic. Just a dude playing games and talking. The type of feeling you would get with a random guy you meet at 3am in a 2009 MW2 lobby. Love this dude!

One of my pet peeves rn is public chat. Almost no one talks. If u do its most likely thru private chats. There's been times where I got chat banned bc some pyscho on the team reported me for talkin to my buddy. Point is why so hard 9n game chat it's nuts it makes it feel so lonely and it's sad cuz it's a multiplayer game.

*Black Ops Was The Pinnacle In Terms Of Functionality* You could see where you hit enemies the most, how many metric tons of explosives have been thrown, how many bullets have been fired, of ALL TIME lol Getting gold really took a lot of games to get grinding snd and wagers. I did miss progression camos for headshots and shit but the money system was pretty good. Promoted Prestiging and progression through the game. There was no cheat way to get gold guns without modding, account coping, and maybe region locking wagers if you could do that but all of these were rare as shit when the game was out.

It would be so funny if Activision came out and proved that EOMM isn't a thing and SBMM hasn't changed since CoD4 and the game just got harder because the collective playerbase has gotten better due to everyone playing CoD for the last 15 years. Christmas noobs aren't a thing anymore because who hasn't played CoD at this point.

The issue is that it’s not a true SBMM system. There is plenty of suspect things like the packet burst in this version and WZ1 having a system that fed you lower lobbies once the algorithm thought you were reaching the end of your normal session length. They have questionable metrics they’re trying to reach through some questionable manipulation of matchmaking.

Remember when cod franchise started. U play the game how it is, balanced for the most part and people just played and the communities was more integrated. Now, because of marketing and micro transactions and seasons, nothing is balanced, new guns over powered (for marketing and profit reasons), nerfed later so the new weapons can get buffed for profit. They really just made everything more complicated themselves and the community. It's too bad we won't be able to see this company to make a shooting game again without the idea of hoarding money behind every change. It is what it is.

This is where your cope meets reality because you may be able to fly through cod however you want but you forget why kids even wanted call of duty in the first place, its because all the adults liked it so much, but if your adults dont want it anymore then they wont meantion it and kids will stop thinking about it in general
