You can't guard break when someone is attacking, only when they're blocking... pretty self explanatory. Executions can only come off of RT based attacks so heavy's or combos with a RT finish. If you want to practice your combos go to how to play, bot training lvl 0. Also don't feel bad about poking a lot with the valk, it's hard for her to constantly stay up front sorta like the nobushi.

Tips: 1) Try Nobushi 2) Don't break the focus you have on your enemy! Ever! Only do it if your trying to run away! 3) When you lose your stamina you can still block his moves and gain that revenge bar. 4) You can only use your guard break when you have the same stance and no one is attacking! I hope this helps but I'm a big fan of you and this game!

Ben Martin hey, what's the best class to use? Rn I use the warden, but it's supposed to be a noob class, but I'm easily 10 kill streaking on elimination? I feel like I've learnt the entire move set, I've watched the tutorial and have mastered the shoulder charge - double light - repeat attack cheese move, who should I use? If you master a harder character, will that make them better than an easy vanguard? Thanks :)

Liam Habib I have about 45 hours in For Honor already, and I recommend to stick with Warden unless you're really bored with him. PeaceKeeper/Warden are the highest of the god tier characters right now so might as well stick with him.

combat tips: 1 i usually see players in combat doing nothing. literaly waiting for the other to attack. if the other player doesn't do anything, it's the perfect time to break their defense. 2 when entering combat with another player. if they have a quick attacking hero picked out. dodge when you get close enough to attack them. you don't have the speed to beat their attacks. if they have a slow attacking hero, charge into the battle with a light attack. 3 remember everything at your disposal. i see players always dodging or always blocking ect. change your combat style up. remember to break their defense, light attack, heavy attack, dodge, block, vengeance. use everything and never let them take a breath.
