The worst thing: ALMOST NONE OF THE EPISODES HAD THE BANNED AND OFFENSIVE THINGS EDITED OUT NOT ONLY FOR SOME REIGONS, BUT ALSO FOR THE INTERNATIONAL RELEASE! This includes internationally banned episodes.

I think the porygon episode incident could've been avoided completely if they edited the lights to go alot slower or make them even darker so it doesn't hurt the eyes or you,so I'm not sure why they didn't do that before airing it,cause all my life I belived that people that make their shows sit down and watch them first before we ever get to see the actual episodes,so I question how they didn't know this problem to begin with,I know deadlines are a thing (unfortunately) but still I don't think that would be a reason not to fix the problem before it airs cause our health is far more important than a stupid deadline

It would be interesting if TPCi finally dubbed "The Legend of Dratini" and "The Ice Cave" into English and released them both together as a "lost episode" special. I mean, there have been quite a few kids' cartoons since the 2000s with similar realistic gun moments, and with "The Ice Cave" they could just digitally recolor Jynx into her purple-faced design, like in later Japanese reruns of "Holiday Hi-Jynx." (And while I'm at it, they should take that re-edited version and edit it to the 4Kids dub soundtrack so it can be released officially in English again!) The flashing lights in that "Cyber Soldier Porygon" scene actually hurt my eyes a little. I can see why it gave nearly 700 kids seizures! The 18th episode did get dubbed edited by 4Kids and titled as "Beauty and the Beach", airing twice in 2000 as a "Lost Episode Special" and never again, with the James boob suit scenes cut. Though they honestly should've made that cut back in 1998 and included the episode with the rest of the first season back then.

In the case of the pokemon Jynx, it wasn't because the company, didn't base it on a black character, it was based on a fashion statement, Ganguro, in which Ganguro is one of the most extreme substyles of gyaru. It features the classic gyaru silhouette but adds in extreme tanning, bright white makeup around the eyes, light-colored lipstick, and bright, often neon, colored clothing. Extremely blond died hair is also popular in the style. The substyle also often exaggerates classic gyaru features, such as extremely long nails decorated with many charms. While some people, think that the Ganguro are mocking black people, it is not, in some cases, people want to do something different, like Punk style in the US, Ganguro, is a way to make a statement to which is different and can at times, be misinterpreted.

I've seen the banned episodes it was all in Japanese luckily with English subtitles and terrible quality thus I saw the Porygon episode in its full glory not toned down and never got a seizure or a really bad headache at all

Next thing you know, you're going to say that South Korea banned every episode in which characters would be seen without any shoes on their feet when they go to certain places where shoes cannot be worn, as that represents a part of Japanese culture. Quite a few episodes were banned in South Korea because of Japanese atuff. Japan invaded Korea in the past and they had s long standing ban on a lot of Japanese stuff. The reason why South Korea banned most episodes involving Japanese culture is because South Korea was invaded by Japan in 1592 and they became a Japanese colony in 1910. And ever since their independence, South Korea cannot seem to forgive Japan, although it has been almost 80 years since gaining independence from them. Some South Koreans hate Japan so much, they burn the Japanese flag. Nintendo's SNES and Sega's Genesis console had to be distributed under Hyundai and Samsung respectively, and anime and manga were also banned.
