+Adriana Merck It's not that Pikachu is OP (it's actually the most balanced character, with no real outlying traits, e.g. Machamp's brute strength or Weavile absurd speed), it's that there are players with a lot of experience using it. It is in the arcade version of Pokken, which dropped in Japan 9 months ago and got a limited release at Dave & Buster's locations here in the US. It's the same reason why Shofu faced an obscenely good Suicune right after launch.
