Yes, in right hand side we have 0 so we can divide both side by any number other than 0 without changing the right hand side 0.

ex: ax² + bx + c = 0 can be rewritten as (for explaining why this is true) ax² + bx = - c, and we multiply each side by -1 -1(ax² + bx) = -1(-c) -> -ax² - bx = c if we move c back we get -ax² - bx - c = 0 wich is exaty equal if we just changed the signs in the first place so for any Quadratic = 0 (or many other expressions, isent nessesary true for functions containing other functions) ax² + bx + c = -ax² - bx - c -2(-2) = 4 2(2) = 4 √4 = ±2
